Mohit lost his way to Korean DVD Parlour during Ek Villain Returns, for Saiyaara, he found the address.
A lot of credit should be given to the editor too…Because if you notice closely, the editor has successfully picked the right moments, expressions and scenes cutting out all the stuff that would let the audience to get a more intimate look at the leads and their craft…. There is not a single scene which lasts more than a few seconds. On director’s part he made sure there are no lengthy dialogues, OTT histrionics, woke references etc which kind of dilute the experience of a romantic movie….
I would still say the movie’s victory is more of the music and the leads than of anyone else involved…

Well, then watch the Korean movies and skip Mohit's who seems to have a fondness for Korean thrillers

Do you watch films?
Jack, it was meant with a smile
Yes, I watch a lot of movies - always have... and I read a lot of books - always have (since I could do that). So, i really make differences about 'based on'/adaptation/remaking/copying/plagiarising/getting inspired/using the same idea/ using a known trope etc.
I may have "complained" about certain repetitions in a time when there are possibilities to watch a better original (better imo, though)... and yes, sometimes I find it annoying that almost-copying-remakes are done instead of getting inspired to make something original out from an idea one gets through another movie/a book.
Although not having watched Saiyaara I know that it is not a remake of A Moment to Remember but certainly uses elements out of this movie like the Korean movie has used elements from other sources, too. There still is originality in Saiyaara, I'm sure of that.
I’m sure his next movie will suck to even things out
