This show has varieties like folk songs, sufi and filmy. Above all two of the contestants are from srgmp 1996 batch jaswinder and mohd vakil [from sufi gharana] .. The later is the winner of srgmp 1996 batch .He is the one who sang saraswati vandana in sanskrit and 10 senior judges declared him the winner of srgmp. [I am not sure about the year 96 or 97] The public thoroughly enjoying folk and sufi along with filmy songs. The singers from pakistan are very good. It is tough competition with good singers like sharib, rajeev,shabd, etc etc. It is a good reality show and a combination of national and international singers [India and Pakistan]congradulation gajendra singh.
