Here’s someone who I think is actually feeling pissed and even panicky right now about this. Kartik, and not because of Ahaan but because this movie is playing on Aashiqui2 nostalgia and that was his game plan for his NotA3 movie. Not just Kartik but everyone at Tseries is probably wondering what approaches to take for their release now.

Why did the Bhatts not make A3? Instead they are making Awarapan 2, and for once I'm glad that it's Awarapan 2, a classic bhaat musical romance with Emraan Hashmi can revive the millennials. Karthik looks like an ape in the new movie teaser and nothing as charming and beautiful as Aditya or even Rahul Roy in first Aashiqi movie.

I don’t know. They were definitely working on it at one point around 2016-2017 with Sid and Alia but after their break up everything died down. Then they were gonna collaborate with Tseries and Kartik but that obviously didn’t happen either.

I haven’t seen the interview myself but according to some Mohit Suri has said when he first started writing Saiyaara it was supposed to be Aashiqui3

I actually keep saying this.... but children of popular stars don't become superstars, (unless you are from Kapoor family.)

Amitabh, Hema Malini, Jeetendra, Dimple, Sridevi, Aamir, Shahrukh etc. They were all big stars and good actors, but their kids have only brought them second-hand embarrassment, when it comes to acting.

Unfortunatelty, Ibrahim is here to pakao us with his acting skills (or lack of) until and unless, he gets better

Saif himself took 10 years to get noticed properly, so maybe Ibrahim has a chance. Although he never reached the superstardom of other 3 Khans

ahaan wouldn't have got more opportunity if he failed in this movie. he certainly might have got the privilege to have a meeting with someone like adi chopra and thats about it.

What Does Kapoor have? Only Rishi Kapoor was a super Star, his brothers failed. His Son is still straggling to achieve even 40% of what he achieved.
