The thing is, none of their shows have worked in the recent past.

Also, let's face it - TV is declining now thanks to OTT.

If they came up with SaiRat now, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't fetch as much as TRP it did 5 years ago. So they were keen on using the show's established FD.

Where they went wrong is they got super arrogant and felt audience would accept anything.

I'm sad for my SaiSaRaj but ecstatic that audience rejected both TejNeel and SavLon.

I really wish other long running crappy serials also meet the same fate as it's high time makers gave audience their due respect.

rather than showing Savi as an IAS / IPS officer .. they should have shown she settles down with Rajat and restarts teaching and has another boy / girl

The gen 4 could have started with her kid as police officer/ doctor .. Param could have been introduced as Dr Kian

I feel Savi is a wonderfully written character. Also Isha and Shantanu. All three of them always remained calm and handled the situations in much better ways than most of the remaining characters.

Savi being a perfect mixture of her parents is the reason audience accepted her. And I loved that even though it was tragic, they ended the show showing she's carrying her parents' legacy forward.

Also he has more power since he's in the industry for years.

Let's be honest, the 3rd gen or the current gen is nowhere near NakSh or KaiRa in terms of popularity or TRP. But the channel won't cancel this show. Otherwise, in recent times there were shows with better concepts which were actually doing good in their not so primetime slot like Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua and Pocket Mein Aasmaan. But those got off-air.

Now it's really on the audience to start rejecting craps. Otherwise these arrogant people will only do what they want.

I don't think Param could enter as Dr. Kiaan because audience usually accepts legacy female child.

But they could definitely utilize Bhavika and Param in the next gen. Such wasted potential!
