Yes, they wanted a new character in Khushi's life, and she was supposed to be pregnant, and ASR was supposed to die in an accident while saving Khushi, something like that.

I always wondered if they ever kept it going with Barun so then what could happen. Well, of course we won't be able to watch it yet a new audience perhaps had a different perception to it. Just wondering?
