This was my guilty pleasure show. Watched it back when it aired and i still remember many things from the storyline eventhough i never rewatched it ; Sometimes I have "rabhaave" playing at the back of my mind , I still remember stuff like "hello hi bye bye" , how Kushi realised the truth about Shyam due to "Rani shaiba" clue , Holi episode where Kushi almost reveals about her pretend marriage , how Shyam made sure Anjali suffers a miscarriage, Kushi throwing hot coffee/tea at Arnav , Arnav kidnapped and the forest sequence , NK frightening "hello hi bye bye" lady by hiding behind a statue , Kushi offering soup with an entire container of pepper empted in it to Shyam , and dude drinks the entire cupsmiley3 , how that garland fell on both Arnav and Kushi , how Shyam made Kushi's dad suffer a stroke , Kushi's mom had an extramarital affair with Arnav's dad ( don't know how that track ended , did Kushi ever come to know about that truth?") , I still remember the precap of the episode where Anjali realises the truth about shyam was different from the episode they showed

( in the episode they organise a function where they play those videos but in that precap shyam was fiddling with some lights and blurts something out and gets the shock of his life when he sees Anjali and Arnav standing behind him)...and I remember the episode where Kushi pretends to be Arnav and he laughs to his heart's content....I stopped watching the show during the storyline where Arnav's "biologival son" makes his entry in the show

Wow! You remembered everything. @Bold I watched the show outside India without precaps and recaps and promos. So, I never came across this scene. I heard many of their promos and precaps were not actually a part of the show. They were shot just to keep the audience guessing. I guess viewers outside India were spared from the guessing game.

Cheers..

Yeah promos are always different than actual scenes in episodes for many shows , but this looked like they shot an entirety different episode and then replaced it with something else.

I'm curious... since you are Chinese/Cambodian... how did you come to know of IPK? Had you watched any other ITV shows before or was IPK the first one? And do you understand Hindi or did you watch with subtitles / dubbing...?

Sorry for so many questions smiley36. I know the show was dubbed in many languages later... so I'm not too surprised about finding fans from other countries nowadays. But you have been around since so long... it makes me wonder about how much of a phenomenon IPK was outside India from the very beginning...

P.S. You look pretty and your fam is fabulous smiley10

Great questions. I used to only watch Thai dramas in my younger days. I became friend with Cecilia whom I met on a Asian forum (mostly Thai drama watchers). She talented in making fan creations and videos. She and another fan started watching IPKKND first. They made lots of creations and videos. Cecilia highly recommended me to watch this serial. I saw her fanmade videos on YT and discovered many others. smiley3I started to watch more vms and one of the scenes that struck me was the forced marriage. There was so much angst. I was dying to know their story so I started binging with English subs around March of 2012. IPKKND was my first Hindi serial and I've watched some old Hindi films before. Then later signed up on India Forums because I wanted to join the discussions and read fanfic. I remember admiring creations by Appy, Baki and many others. Of course, I've read Appy's and EXPELLIARMUS's fanfic and enjoyed more vms. The forum was so alive and crazy back then. When the show ended, it was so hard to let go so I got together with a group to relive IPK again and created Blast From The Past thread. This was the time when I met Faiqa di and many great friends. I was mainly responsible for getting links to the each episodes and imbedding audio for the thread. Later, I felt that I wasn't doing enough so I started to learn how to make gifs. That lead to learning how to make siggies. I've watched a lot of Photoshop tutorials and practicing and creating was necessary to get better. I spent a lot of my free time on IPK. smiley36 Those were some great memories.

Wow! I used to follow the Blast from the Past threads intermittently. Probably have it in my watch list too smiley36. And knowing that IPK led to you learning Graphicing makes me so happy smiley4 We would have never discovered such a great talent otherwise!

Thank you so much for answering my questions and sharing your journey of IPK / IF with us smiley10. Looking forward to many more Anniversary threads created and celebrated with you smiley27

Here are more of Bellefire's creations. I think she works as graphic artist and she was my other source of inspiration. smiley10smiley27
