This is exactly what I was thinking. Mannat doesn't know this marriage set up is all fake. She sees him happily going along with all the marriage rituals and going behind her forcing her to accept her feelings. She might now acknowledge it aloud since Vikrant is her BKB, but any sane girl be thinking the guy wants to marry the rich girl to appease his mother and wants her to be his mistress.
