Yeah, that guy, Namik is extremely tall. And Pranali isn't very tall as a girl. He played the role of a ghost in a show named Ek Deewana Tha. When the show started it seemed the ghost was dangerous and harmful. That's because we always think ghosts are dangerous. But on the contrary, it was revealed later that a human (the parallel lead) was actually the dangerous one. The ghost was the male lead and a positive character.

I watched his show EDKV for a while until it got boring. He isn't that great as an actor but still liked him. Everything about KB is cringe but I found his chemistry with nibbi Pranali to be insanely mesmerizing. I'll watch it until it becomes unbearable

Is Ek Deewana Tha worth watching? I was thinking to give it a chance but I'm not fond of that other lead actor.

I didn't watch Ek Deewana Tha when it aired on Sony. I didn't know about the existence of this show at that time. I came to know about it later and thought about watching it. So, I watched some episodes. Yes, the concept is definitely unique and interesting. The show begins when the female lead's boyfriend/the male lead is already dead. You can give it a try. I didn't watch all the episodes because I feel intimidated to watch a lot of episodes. That doesn't mean the show is bad. Ek Deewana Tha may seem weird to you though because there is a ghost and the theme of reincarnation in the show. And I want to tell you something. If you dislike the parallel lead, it'll be difficult for you to watch Ek Deewana Tha. That's because he's the main villain of the show. He's a vital part of the show. In fact, the name of the show is also based on him, not the male lead. I recently saw a funny comment on YouTube. The comment is "Vyom (the parallel lead's name in the show) is full of red flags but I'm blind."

If he's the villain then I'm fine with it. I usually enjoy watching shows of thriller/horror genre. Not of itv standards though..I'll watch it for Namik and Donal.

This is not something NEIL would ever do!!! He never hugged Teju on his own will and even when Teju hugged him in the forest he was hesitant to hold her back at that time even though he fell in love with her by then it was only after wedding when Teju hugged him during thunderstorm, he reciprocated back. They have utterly butchered his shy and composed character. Chee yaar. I am so disgusted in the makers 😡😡😡😡😡

Discussing Ek Deewana Tha with you revived my interest in the show. So, I watched the first episode on SonyLiv again.

Spoilers/My thoughts:

The first episode starts with beautiful scenic beauty and Vyom's (the parallel lead) obsessive love/deewangi. He burns his hands and legs for the female lead, Sharanya. He talks to an idol of the Goddess, "Mujhse naraj ho? Main nastik hoon. Nahi manta tumhe. Nahi ki kabhi tumhari puja. Nahi jhukaya kabhi tumhare samne apna sar. Nahi jode kabhi tumhare samne apne haat. Lekin ab to wo sab kar raha hoon, shiddat se, pichle do saal se lagatar, har bar. Wo sab kar raha hoon, jo usne mujhe sikhaya tha. Phir kyun nahi sun rahi tum meri? Wo kehti thi kabhi abhi apne bhagwan se ye mat kaho ki apki musibatein kitni badi hai. Balki apne musbaton se kaho ki apka bhagwan kitna bada hai, phir sab thik ho jayega. Lekin pichle do saal se uske saat kuch bhi thik nahi hua..." The name, Sharanya is beautiful. Donal is pretty. But nobody looks so fresh after waking up from a coma after 2 years. Jokes apart, the first episode is definitely interesting in my opinion.
