Can someone recommend me a romance novel where the supporting character/couple fit the theme of LGBTQ+?

I'm sad that I'm separate from you and Hinna now, but at least I have Shibu to stick to smiley42smiley36

Btw I noticed you read Soulmate equation & The Bride Test, I’ve read the first, been wanting to read the second and from your review it feels like I’m better off not reading smiley36. TBH I’ve heard this about both Helen Hoang and Elena Armas - that the rest of their books (apart from the first big hit) aren’t all that great.

Btw, if you liked Soulmate equation you should try True love experiment. I liked that one even better.

M gonna read Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating and Rani Choudhury Must Die by Adiba Jaigirdar and murder in mahim by Jerry pinto.

If you are into thrillers, Girl in Glass Case by Devashish sardana is a good one.

Are all of these pride themed?

I don't know about supporting characters. But I'm going to read a romance novel where the main characters are lesbians. The name of the book is The Henna Wars and it was written by a Bangladeshi-Irish author.

I'm reading The Boyfriend material by Alexis Hall with my FB read-along group.

I got a bunch of recs from them, have to list them all out smiley36

But I have these ready to read for now:

1. We could be so good - Cat Sebastian

2. The Queer Principles of Kit Webb - Cat Sebastian

3. Delilah Green doesn't care - Ashley Herring Blake

4. The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo- Taylor Jenkins Reed

5. To catch a Firefly - Emmy Sanders

6. The Song of Achilles - Madeline Miller

I've also read these in the past:

1. Everything for you - Chloe Liese (part of a series but this one features an MM romance)

2. Let Love Rule - Frances M. Thompson (Both leads are Bi, and it's quite smutty smiley9, and the FMC is Indian)

3. Red, white and Royal blue - Casey McQuiston

4. Unromance - Erin Connor (The FMC is Bi)

I'll also read Abida Jaigirdar's novel in June and that's The Henna Wars. I think it's her debut novel. I never read her book before.

Oh wait you wanted something where the supporting characters are Queer - okay that's different. I have to think about this cos there are a bunch of books that will fit.

1. The Love hypothesis - Ali Hazelwood

2. The Seven Year Slip - Ashley Poston

3. Things we never got over - Lucy Score (GR lists this, and I've read it but can't remember the supporting gay characters smiley6)

4. My big, fat fake wedding - Lauren Landish (I just Buddy read this this month with Vera smiley36)

5. The name of the game - Jennifer Dawson

6. Daydream - Hannah Grace (I think Icebreaker by her also has a side character that's gay but don't quote me on that)

I'm reading After that night by Karin Slaughter and that has a side character that's a lesbian.

I might be able to think of more. Many romances have the leads who have gay best friends. It's the easiest (& laziest) way of getting in some representation.
