An acquaintance of mine just had her fifth child. She's in her early thirties. Believes contraception is sin and hasn't heard of *n*l apparently. Kids keep popping out of her car whenever I run into her. It looks like a nightmare. I don't think she has had a good night's sleep since she left college. Rihanna is a singer so maternity fat or pregnancy is not going to mess with her career. Actresses have a lot more at stake so maybe they hesitate.

What sort of achievement is this to be boasting of? In a densely populated country TM wants celebs to have more kids and celebrate it as some sort of an achievement.

Because she didn’t get marry and she gave birth without marriage. It’s usual in western countries but in South Asia, it’s not looked good upon women. Most women in South Asia chose to give birth by getting marry. In Bollywood, most actresses marry after 30 and after establishing their career. So their case is not same as Hollywood celebrities. I had a classmate that has 3 kids without marriage and she was 27 at that time. I saw many women like that but in India or other South Asian countries, it’s not really possible.
