It’s just that he doesn’t take his nun’s words seriously and expects mannat to not take seriously as well ..

What he fails to understand is mannat will not accept whatever his mum says ..that’s where their differences of opinion lies ..

He is unaware of his mom’s true intentions about mannat

Arre bhai, I remember each of these.

For Vikram, things have changed, right? He knows he loves Mannat, and he wants to marry her. The same morning he told her, his mom doesn't like her, and they will solve any issue together.

From that perspective, his instinct should have been to stop the fight, by telling both of them to stop saying nasty things to each other. If he has an inkling that Mannat feels hesitant because of his mom, won't this cement her views further? Im talking from his POV, never mind the fact that Mannat is right. That the audience knows.

These are the two women in his life. When they get married for eg, will he continue to just use signs to tell his mom to keep quiet?

And if he feels that Mannat should give in..then that will not work. he should also give reassurance to Mannat that he is taking her seriously. He also knows Mannat is concerned about his health, she has spoken to him about it earlier. Even if he had one line, like I don't believe Mannat poisoned the cake, I will not believe my mom gives me drugs, it is an equalizer. But I am going to find out about my health to convince both of you how wrong you are. What a difference it would make !

But this is too logical yaa for Desi TV.. or any daily soap. Their love has to go through this trial by fire and this time, as Mannat said, she is not going to try to prove herself to him, like she did during the Bobby track.
