Four Weddings and A Funeral (I'm a Hugh Grant fan. 😆 He peaked here!)

The Philadelphia Story

Bringing up Baby

His Girl Friday

It Happened One Night (This is a classic. I have watched it 5 times already. Clark Gable is so handsome.)

The Holiday (Jude Law is definitely swoon worthy. Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz were too good as well.)

You've Got Mail (Meg Ryan fan too!)

Groundhog Day (This one had such an exciting storyline apart from the rom-com aspect of it.)

Sleepless in Seattle

Bridget Jones Diary

13 Going on 30

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

Some Like it Hot (I am a classics girl. 😄)

When Harry Met Sally (Surprisingly, I liked Billy Crystal opposite Meg Ryan. I didn't expect that.)

More of my favourites:

Jerry Maguire (The only Tom Cruise film I adore to the fullest.)

Annie Hall

She's the Man

Love Actually (Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson's stories are so wonderful.)

Sideways

Legally Blonde

The Shop Around the Corner

City Lights (If you love Charlie Chaplin)

Ninotchka (Greta Garbo is class apart)

Sabrina

Breakfast at Tiffany's (I'm probably an Audrey Hepburn fan too!)

The Apartment

Juno

The Kids are Alright

Licorice Pizza

As Good As it Gets (Jack Nicholson rom-coms are classy too)

Definitely, Maybe

Moonstruck (Cher was a surprise!)

Indiscreet

Adam's Rib

The Seven Year Itch

Vicky Cristina Barcelona

Marriage Italian Style

heyy Hi fellow rom-com enthusiast! Didn’t think I’d find anyone in IF who had watched Hollywood classics!

Roman Holiday yes- to this day I think Audrey and Gregory are the most beautiful couple on screen smiley42

Bringing up baby is so whacky!smiley37

“In moments of quiet I’m strangely drawn to you, but well there haven’t been any quiet moments” smiley37

I agree about Hugh Grant - he was so appealing in FWAAF. He does that endearing bumbling persona so well. He’s the reason I liked Notting Hill at all. Julia Roberts’ character was such a pick me girl. smiley6

Apartment , Indiscreet, Seven year itch, Gentlemen prefer blondes, Adam’s rib - all movies I’ve seen and they’re excellent romcoms.

Somehow I’m not a fan of Woody Allen’s movies nor am I a Jack Nicholson fan (I know. I got crazy opinions smiley39but there they are!)

Sabrina - yes but the Audrey - Bogie version though Harrison Ford was yummy in the remake.

Chaplin - I’m okay with but I infinitely prefer the Marx Brothers.

I love Love Actually. I didn’t put it down in my og list cos I didn’t see it as a romcom but I guess it can be. I like Hugh and Emma’s stories but love Colin Firth’s story. It’s so cheesy and so cute.

Ah Shop around the corner was remade as You’ve got mail and I have that up in my list smiley9

I’ve seen Jerry McGuire once. Is it really a romcom? I thought it’s more about Jerry’s growth but yeah it’s good ..

Also, unpopular opinion probably- I did not like Cameron Diaz in The Holiday. I thought Graham deserved better! Miles and Iris were so cute though.

Yep! I also love the Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart version of Sabrina! You opinion about Woody Allen films I understand. I feel sometimes that Jack Nicholson is quite a strange choice for myself, but yeah, can't help it. 😆

Jerry Maguire isn't exactly a rom-com but it has many elements of it. I mean Reneé Zellweger and Tom Cruise had the rom-comedy couple chemistry in it. Colin Firth's story in Love Actually was cheesy. I like that film because it was so heartwarming.

And I agree. Miles and Iris were cute in The Holiday!

Yeah I hear you about Jerry MaGuire. Renee had the most iconic line - You had me at hello and she was cute in the movie but I guess what really stood out to me was Jerry and his relationship with her kid which is probably why I don’t remember it as a rom-com.

Emma’s story in Love actually was so heartbreaking though. So was Laura Linney’s.

Don’t be apologetic about liking Jack N - we all like what we like and dislike what we dislike and sometimes the reasons can be unfathomable.smiley36

Oh and how did I forget How to steal a million? smiley44I must have seen that movie a million times smiley36 - gosh the chemistry is top tier! So is the comedy. Peter O’Toole was so darn appealing in it!
