It's a beautiful motivational poem!

I particularly liked the lines, "Junoon ki aag ne, ab tujhko lapeta hai. Jalaakar khud ko, koyla bhi hira deta hai". I liked how you used the symbolism of diamond here. The name of poem is also nice. Keep it up. Write more poems and share them with us.

@Bold: So relatable! Yes, poetry is written to vent out, and poets don't usually learn or get motivated by their own poetry. 😄 I write poetry too! In English and in Tamil and Hindi/Urdu. I like reading poetry as well. In Urdu and Hindi, I love reading Faiz, Jaun Elia and Ghalib. In Tamil, Kannadasan. In English, my favourites are Shelley and Wordsworth. I usually write couplets, 2-4 lines shayari, medium length poems and have also written numerous long poems extending upto 2-3 pages. 😅 My themes are quite different from one another. One day I'll write a solemn, serious poem, another day I'll write something too tragic, and then the next day, I would be writing something so comical and funny that I would be cracking up even before completely writing a full verse. 😂

Personal space part is bang-on! I used to keep a diary hidden from everyone in the house and wrote my poems and essays in it. I journal now, since I live in a hostel. 😂

I also like William Wordsworth's poems. I like those authors and poets who write about nature. When I was a kid, I used to write Bengali poems.

Once I wrote a poetry related to Independence day history for school competition which goes for 5 pages 😂, farewell poem for 2 and Poem on trees for talent hunt round for 1 page (this was my 1st long poem.

My siblings used to check my cupboard so I wrote them in phone only. 😂

I too thought to publish them by making a seperate insta page but after reading again my old ones...I thought ye maine kya soch kr likha tha 😂 itna ajeeb 😂 and I dropped the idea .

Yes, I am from Delhi. I know only 2 languages- hindi and english. Or sanskrit school me padi thi 3 years bs 😂

Were both Hindi and English poems allowed in that school competition? If you write any poem about trees or nature, you can share with me.

Actually it was hindi diwas celebration where different types of competitions were organised. One was self composed poem of 3-5 minutes for which I wrote Independence day vali. And trees one, I wrote for student council elections talent hunt round where you have to showcase any of your talent regarding anything.

I can share you that poem after 1 week because it is not in my phone right now.
