No....there are many but nobody informs other dekhne ka pattern meri tarah hai but they do....

Hindi..my poetries mainly contains emotions like depression, motivation.

I whenever gets exhausted. I pour out my heart by writing. It's going to be 4 years since I had started writing. Jyada achi to nhi hogi but haa better than the one I used to wrote in the beginning 😅

Beautiful, Shruti! Your poem is so inspiring! And it has the traditional rhyme of a poem which I love the most. I'm glad to have found a fellow poet on this forum. I loved the lines, "Junoon ki aag me, Ab khud ko lapeta hai, Jalaakar khud ko, Koyla bhi hira deta hai". It's so imaginative! May I ask which genre/theme of poetry you like to write? Do you read poetry as well?

My theme usually consist of depressed phase of life and motivation to get out of it.

Ironically, I wrote to motivate myself and never get motivated reading them 😅

Actually I am not reading anything write now. Mere exams hai to uske baad will thought about it. Maine last around 3-4 years back gulzar sahab ki poetries padi thi when I started writing. Because me mainly 4-6 lines poetries hi likhti thi. But ab ek line mann me aati hai or jb haath chlta hai to fir vo 20-30 lines se pehle rukta hi nhi😂. 4-5 lines me emotions nhi aate. I had written around 85 poetries consisting 9 long ones till now.

People usually do journal writing, but being in a middle class family, hamare yha kuch personal nhi reh skta 😂 So I wrote poetries to empty my mind.

85 poetries! You need to find a publisher ASAP! 😆😂 That's a wonderful achievement!

@Bold: So relatable! Yes, poetry is written to vent out, and poets don't usually learn or get motivated by their own poetry. 😄 I write poetry too! In English and in Tamil and Hindi/Urdu. I like reading poetry as well. In Urdu and Hindi, I love reading Faiz, Jaun Elia and Ghalib. In Tamil, Kannadasan. In English, my favourites are Shelley and Wordsworth. I usually write couplets, 2-4 lines shayari, medium length poems and have also written numerous long poems extending upto 2-3 pages. 😅 My themes are quite different from one another. One day I'll write a solemn, serious poem, another day I'll write something too tragic, and then the next day, I would be writing something so comical and funny that I would be cracking up even before completely writing a full verse. 😂

Personal space part is bang-on! I used to keep a diary hidden from everyone in the house and wrote my poems and essays in it. I journal now, since I live in a hostel. 😂
