Spencer Johnson: As a bowler in the IPL it's a part and parcel of going around the park. I think bowling in the powerplay, then in the middle, towards the end - there are three difference stages. With 4 overs to be bowled, if one over doesn't go your way, you still have three overs to go. It's not easy, but you got to stay in the moment. I try to stay as relaxed as possible. You need to stick to your plans, sometimes it comes off, and when it doesn't, it doesn't. For me being a left-armer and swinging it into the pads, that's one of my strengths. If things are not going your way, I guess you gotta change and adapt to what's working and what's not. For me, it's all about keeping things simple..

The surface looks a bit tacky, looks a bit up and down. A little area on the surface looks loose. There will be a bit inconsistent pace on the wicket. There might be some turn later on, but you need to use the new ball really well. Scoring heavily in the powerplay will be crucial tonight. There are patches where it looks hard, there are a few patches where it doesn't. Four out of five games have been won by teams batting first.
