They're saying the baby is a boy because Ki said "buddy" in the video she uploaded... but they're not supposed to know the baby's sex, so I think she just said "buddy" as a joke?

Or she might have just said it in that moment without it meaning anything. Yea it’s all over social media now that it’s a boy but I wonder how many of these people are aware that in India it’s illegal to know the sex of your child during pregnancy.

Realistically speaking and given that they’ve traveled abroad and are very rich it is possible they found out what it is. But I still think that one statement was more of in the moment thing. It’s not unusual for parents to refer to their unborn as he or she unknowingly.

Would that be illegal even if they did it in another country?

I honestly couldn't wait 9 months to find out the baby's sex and how do u buy clothes etc.? everything at the last minute has to be crazy to prepare.

Buddy is just a friend. That's all.

I genuinely don’t have a solid answer for that. My guess would be no, it won’t be illegal. But it might just be bad optics to let it slip that you know because of your ability to go abroad. Know what I mean?

I guess it depends on context. It definitely can be. But parents typically tend to call their boys buddy. Or maybe this is just an Americanized thing. Fans on social media got excited thinking she let it slip what it is. I think she just said it as a term of endearment.

Rosy, I have definitely referred to my girl friend as “my Buddy” so yea. Like I said above, it depends on context.
