When we guys are in any topic, it is bound to go off rail
Bollywood stars are big amongst the south Asian community, but it shows that to the western world these bollywood stars are relatively unknown. I think it shows that bollywood movies are still more restricted to the south Asian audience and that the wider world isn't watching them as much as they do with Hollywood movies
As expected.
Indian filmstars are only known in south asian disapora mostly, not many know about bollywood and indian cinema.
However the interview was cringe as they literally asked him "do you even know what met Gala is" typical western mindset these poor people don't know anything. Hell they didn't even know they were interviewing the designer sabyasachi.

His fans claim that he's a global superstar, the biggest overseas star, so a reporter asking who he is seems odd, don't you think?
Not really. They asked many of the Hollywood stars who they are as well. Just a way of introduction I suppose.
Also it doesn’t matter how globally well known one might be. It’s the same as bringing Chris Hemsworth to an indian village and expecting them to know him

Chris Hemsworth came to my village & everyone recognize him as they said "Thor aa gaya".

Maybe the media expected him to introduce himself in his own style..
"I'm Sharukh"
And, that's enough introduction...😌
they even asked foreign celebrities same question. It's only formality to introduce themselves n talk about the outfits as it was live on vogue channel
What racism? u have ppl of all colors there. Srk is a nobody outside India is ok just accept it.
Yeah right 😂 . He was most popular celebrity present at MET .noone cared about the so called international celebraties
