I’m not sure I understand your query. Are you going to read one selection from a collection of plays? It’s an ebook & you want to know how to add page counts as you won’t be beginning at Page 1?Originally posted by: LizzynDarcy
I think, if we agree on reading from the uploaded editions, we can use those editions for page count, share link to the same via Amazon and use the actual count of pages read.
But I think we should confirm this with LizzieBennet once.
@lizziebennet, could you confirm if we should refer to the anthology for reference/link and just put count of actual pages read the same way we do DNF? Except that we dont write DNF at the end.
Example-
William Shakespeare complete works - Arden Edition (total 3000 pages) Plays read - Merchant of Venice 80 pages
Is this okay?

We will read The Merchant of Venice from a book called The Arden Shakespeare Complete Works. LizzynDarcy shared the book with us. It's a collection of Shakespeare's tragedies, comedies, and sonnets. We will only read The Merchant of Venice from that book for now. Yes, we also want to read Hamlet, Macbeth, and Twelfth Night. However, we'll do that later. So, we can't write the total page count of that book because we won't read Shakespeare's sonnets and other dramas, such as King Lear, King John, etc. Now, LizzynDarcy meant, is it okay if we write the actual number of pages that we're going to read (only the page count of The Merchant of Venice from that book)?
Ok, is the book (collection) available on Amazon? If yes, is the page count same as what appears on the ebook?

Yes, it is available on Amazon.
Kindle's page count: 6617 pages
Actual page numbers of the ebook: 5731 pages
Ok since there is a lot of discrepancy here I’m going to ask you to go with the actual pages counts on your ebook.

So, should we write only the page counts of The Merchant of Venice? We obviously can't write the total page count of the ebook because we won't read it completely.
Yep you can write it as
