Today, the result was declared, and I came first in the contest! I can't believe this! I didn't participate in writing contests much previously. And I never participated in a fantasy contest before. For the first time, I wrote a fantasy story for a writing contest. So, I'm very glad, surprised, and overwhelmed. I never thought, even for one second, that I would win the contest. It means a lot to me! So, I thought about sharing the news with you. Pavitra and Kinu, both of you read the story when I shared it on the chat thread of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyar Mein.

Here's the link to the declaration and the closing remarks.

Shirsha, I, too, have read your story "The Whispering Book".....And, what a lovely & intriguing read it was, kudos to yousmiley27smiley27smiley27 Loved every bit of it. I thoroughly enjoyed the story from beginning to endsmiley27 your story never felt like it was losing the momentum anytime, the curiosity factor maintained. I devoured your story at one gosmiley27

You were feeling skeptical whether your stories would be liked because of the simple language, but I assure you because of your simple & eloquent writing style, your write-ups & stories, caters to all the section of audience, hence would be loved by all. Your stories would be a comfort read for everybodysmiley27

Keep up your good work!!!😍👍🏻 I am getting so much of learning from you & other fellow writers on this platform

I read the story and I really liked it smiley9

Edit: one of the best things is that the ebb and flow of the story remained constant till the end! So kudos to that! I loved it! 🥰

I won’t have time to aim for the GOATs this month so it’ll either be a repeat of Whiz or Ace.smiley9

I’ll probably aim for GOATs in June.smiley10
