It's clear that ACP Ayushman's entry has completely backfired. You can't really blame Sony TV for the drop in TRPs they’re airing CID at the right time now, sharp at 10 PM. The real misstep lies with the makers. Recycling the old "fake death" twist with ACP Pradyuman was a huge mistake. Viewers have seen this before, and it no longer excites them—especially now that they know the CID officers are immortal. But the biggest blunder was introducing Parth as ACP Ayushman. Instead of forcing a new ACP into the team, they should’ve brought him in as a regular officer, in place of one of the two current female officers. Letting Abhijeet take the lead in ACP Pradyuman’s absence could’ve maintained the show's core dynamic and possibly prevented the situation from becoming this bad.

We are making excuses for the felling trp of cid 2 but think it deeply the trp of Cid 2 at the time of airing first two episodes was 1.4 and now 0.3 how ?? People don't watching it why they are not watching the episodes are making the character gives their 100 percent we have to slap the sony tv that making cid offair was their biggest mistake..and it can be done through the increasing trp of cid...so guys pls see cid on tv to get back the trps..the typical saas bahu drama are on the top of the trp list and crime thrilled shows are on the ventilator..wake up guys watch the show on tv.. don't ruin the legacy of cid

i think behind the drop in TRP is not because people are not watching CID, but because people are watching it online. Just like me there are so many people, who prefer to watch CID on Netflix or some other online platform because it gives give people the flexibility to watch at their own convenience.

Sab tv has shows which go air from Monday to Saturday...jab ki CID is only Sat Sun

Monday to Friday most of the housewives watch the serials kyu uss type ke serials hein Sab tv pe...but Sat Sun usually ppl prefer watching movies toh maybe that's why CID doesn't have trp....time bhi toh late hein na thoda...
