Popstar will always have such a special place in my heart because it was my introduction to the Sadenverse. And I'm also just really protective of this book and Harley as a character because I just think that his life and journey getting to Brix is so tragic and something about him will always stay with me. Also, a lot of people tend to hate Popstar since Harley's ex Jet's book came first and it seems to be a fan-favourite. (Which is why I've been putting off that book for two years now. 🤣🤣🤣🤣)

When we can experience the journey of a character in the book, it makes the read worthwhile. That is what clicked for me. And I really liked it so I’m planning to read the rest of the verse hopefully smiley36

Thank you for the review! smiley27

I still have one book left that I think I'll finish soon though. Bet You by Neve Wilder is Book #4 in the Franklin U series and I started listening to it yesterday because I just wanted an audiobook to listen to on my walk and I was out of hours on Spotify. I've read about 30% of it and it's been pretty fun so far - I haven't actually read a banter-y, enemies-to-lovers book in a while and some of the tropes like jockxnerd and 'one person bets that they can get the other to date them' had me feeling a little nostalgic.

YO I FINISHED BET YOU LAST NIGHT!!! I really didn't think I would get through it by the end of this month, but here we are. Okay, that was officially my last book of the month. smiley36

Also please post your individual totals if you can (it will save me some work! smiley17)

The challenge will close officially in a few hours.

You can join your new teams (Look up the Orange Team button on the main forum page) for May and begin logging your books for May once you've hit the April deadline for your Time Zone [Midnight wherever you are]

Thank you for your contributions and I loved having you on this team!

Hope you enjoy the reading challenge next month and hit even bigger milestones!

Happy reading!

Yep Prime subscribers have access to Prime reading where you can ‘borrow’ Kindle books that are made available on this platform. It’s not as extensive as KU but they keep rotating the titles so you do get hold of some good ones
