Maybe because Sridevi fans want to see her. I never got the hype about Sridevi. She was massively overrated in terms of looks, acting, and dance. Madhuri looked better than her, acted better than her, and danced better than her. Sridevi fans call her India's first female superstar which is not true because Madhubala, Nargis, Sharmila Tagore, Hema Malini, Mumtaz, Zeenat Aman came before Sridevi and were much more popular than her. Especially, Zeenat Aman was insanely popular even outside India.
