Evicting HC and Sudhanshu was Sitara’s call ? Wasn’t the PH responsible for that ?

Harshad and Sudhanshu left on their own. Shakti was evicted. But yes, Star plus is very ruthless. No results, direct 180 degree change. And over the years, they are openly doing it. Not even subtle. Sad.

I'm not sure but Sitara could've said No to PH. Vanraj Shah was the main attraction of Anupamaa and Harshad's stardom was older than that particular PH's popularity peak. But Star has always been infamous for relegating its male leads to supporting characters based on PH's whims and favouritism. (Earlier it was Ekta doing all this, now it's RS)

Harshad was changed to a supporting character straightaway from the male lead. Sudhanshu was never the male lead but his screen presence was the strongest in Anupamaa. Their characters were butchered by PH in a way they had no other option to leave. I've been used to this since mid 2000s when Ekta changed male lead from one character to another in the show, maybe that's why I'm not finding all this as shocking.

I used to watch Kayamath and I thought Neev and Prachi were the endgame. But then the makers introduced Shabir Ahluwalia's character and changed everything.

Finally someone else who feels the same. Neev and Pancchi had such a sweet, friends to lovers love story and they complemented each other so well (even without fake dushmani and tashan wala enemies to lovers angle). After them and Anurag-Prerna, I stopped being invested in a Jodi.

According to me, the female lead was not a good actress. However, yes, their relationship was sweet. I like Neev and Prachi's relationship because they were childhood friends. They knew each other for so many years. Therefore, they they understood one another very well.

Probably Raman Ishita are last jodi on ITV n Sp to get a happy ending with same actors..Otherwise one gets killed or actors replaces or cameo comes n replaces the ml n fl moves on..Pathetic

Actor replacement decisions are entirely the channel’s call, not the makers’. If the channel demands something, makers have no choice but to comply.

I noticed some people on x saying that the makers should have refused the channel’s ki naa bol dena chahiye tha— but honestly, makers don't hold that much authority. Not even someone like Shahi; at best, he might have some bargaining power, but ultimately, the channel’s word is final.
