And how are they going to incorporate an IAS/IPS character in a love story where one lead is a practicing doctor/secret singer and parallel lead is a rockstar? Like doctor/IPS can be a nod to original SaiRat but how will a rockstar parallel lead fit into this?

They literally cheat & waste the time of each & every fandom of every season who'd invested their precious time in the story in the most brutal way, and then they've the audacity to think it will generate TRPs for them I really hope they won't be misunderstanding themselves and taking pride in anyway while smoking their KADAK NASHA that whatever they're writing is anything even close to Shakespearean tragic love stories, I would really pukeGhum is nothing but a meme-worthy show

Savi not just got married but had a kid and became IAS officer. Now they will show IAS officer involving in kitchen politics .

This will be her third marriage . People get second chance in love not third and fourth. That's not how love works. It is mockery to show a woman like that. Wdym a woman can't stay single without a man?

I get that actors hardly get work in itv. But how long bhavika will play same character with different heroes. She will get stereotyped as just savi without exploring different characters. I am sure even her fans are not happy with her decision.

Regarding vaibhavi. I didn't get fl vibes from her at beginning. But heard she improved later. Even if she didn't, it's unfair to remove her like that. Hope she gets better opportunities.

If they are planning to show Bhavika as a cop investigating Tejaswini's accidental death, then she can't be Savi and everyone is jumping the gun wondering how she became IPS after IAS.

If she is Savi, makers have totally lost all perspective. Even if she isn't, makers are shamelessly trying to cash in on her Maddam Sir and S2 fans to revive their show. Given how much trolling she is going to face, I really hope Bhavika has been offered a meaty role and not some crazy Savi 3.0 which degrades her and the character.

Pakhi Didi's character made no sense jitna bhi I've watched Ghum S1 in reels. I mean they could've made her a conniving, greedy villain or a villain with some back story who wanted to ruin Chavhans. But I've never watched any villain more clueless than Pakhi Didi and any leads more unlikeable than Sai and weaker than Virat.

Pre TejNeil's wedding, Rutu was actually a nice and realistic character and so was Tejaswini. Neil was great in the beginning weeks but making him fall so deep in love for a girl he met only recently was where it all started going wrong. TejNeil required a slowburn love story not that instant obsession wala one sided love from Neil.

The technicality is a bit different actually. According to the rules of the UPSC, a person who qualifies the IAS (Indian Administrative Service) and the IFS (Indian Foreign Service) can't even appear for the Civil Services Exam again. Plus, after you join your posting as a full time officer, the IPS officers do have their own powers but act on the instructions of the IAS who is either the SDM or the Divisional Magistrate, basically Collector. I know all this since I wish to appear for CSE once I complete my higher studies. 😅😅

But the Ganjophiles sitting in the Goregaon Film City don't care about all this. They'll make a mockery of the Civil Services to which people dedicate multiple years of their life, most failing, a miniscule achieving their dreams. They're smoking like very serious stuff.

I get you and I’m aware of it too since I prepared for mains too and plus my friend’s dad works as a secretary to a District Collector.

IAS can technically call the shots — they are authorised to make decisions on behalf of the government in crisis situations but it’s not a demotion. IG / Superintendent of Police are on equal stage though they consult IAS officers before taking any actions.

The training, the preparation after you have selected the civil service in which you want to be a part of is completely different. IAS officers are more trained to handle crisis & are given mental training, not that physical training is any less. But for IPS, the physical training is as rigorous as military training. They have practical field work, are trained in criminal investigations/ counter terrorism squads so you can imagine the training they’ll undergo. They are expected to work in any circumstances regardless of weather / conditions or any external factors.

We can switch careers but it’s not an everyday occurrence. But usually people switch from IPS to IAS not the other way around. You can switch if your partner in case of marriage to an IAS officer. But that involves a lot of paperwork which frankly isn’t easy. ( you can search in google if you’d like )

What do you all think they're planning to do with Neil's character post Tejaswini's death? Are they going to show him as an alcohol addict guy who does operations under influence of alcohol or a total Devdaas who has left work and just spends his time in some Daru ka Theka?
