Prediction Game Poll Results and Guidelines

Hello Members,

Thank you so much for your time, your votes and your inputs/suggestions to resolve issues related to prediction game when presented with new scenarios.

We appreciate all your inputs (fun and feasible) on respective issues.

Most of the inputs we have received have multiple steps in making a decision.

After considering all solutions and most importantly the poll results, we are presenting prediction game guidelines.

Tie breaker solutions

Poll One

Poll choice one with 64% of the votes will be implemented.

Tie breaker solution for highest runs with best strike

Player with best Batting Impact in that match as per Cricinfo will be declared as the winner for this category.

Tie breaker solution for highest wickets with best economy

Player with best Bowling Impact in that match as per Cricinfo will be declared as the winner for this category.

Tie breaker solution for highest 4s and 6s

Player with best Impact runs will be declared as the winner for these categories.

Super Over

Poll Two

Poll choice one with 74% of the votes will be implemented.

If a match is decided in a Super over, Super Over runs, wickets or extras will not be used/added in any of the prediction game categories.

Points will not be awarded for Margin of victory because the original match is a tie.

No change in every other category.

Rain affected matches

Poll Three

Poll choice 3 with 52% of the votes will be implemented.

• If overs are reduced before the match - Members will be awarded points for total runs and total extras if they predict correctly. No change in every other category.
• If overs are reduced in the middle of the match - no one will be awarded points for total runs and total extras. No change in every other category.
• We have another guideline for rain affected matches. If a match is abandoned after the toss, members will be awarded points for correct toss prediction.
