I loved how he yielded and agreed to Abhijeet about the NGO and gave him full power and freedom, " Jo karna hai karo, jaise karna hai karo . "

I feel he can feel the hostility and lack of acceptance from the old CID team members ( for good reason). Yes he's arrogant , but from his pov , he came here on the basis of his qualifications and if he's not connected to ACP Pradyumn death then he's no reason to be okay with it.

Also, we all know he's talking to ACP Pradyumn on phone , right?

Just one question what has he done that team accept him rather than just giving orders and demeaning them it's not just giving orders but directly demeaning them

Maybe he's some low level insecurity . It's his first job after cracking UPSC ig , so he's also under a lot of pressure to deliver . Plus, right now the department is under heavy limelight because of the whole bureau explosion , and most of it is negative . So, it's kind of a hostile or unwanted take over . He must be channeling the energy he's receiving from his own superiors . As you can see in a previous episode , the DSP and his henchmen are not at all in favor of og team members . Underlings oftentimes carry the instructions or energy they receive from the superiors. They could've told him have a iron hand against the CID og members , don't go easy on them etc. Also, it must be grilled in his mind that these core team is absolutely loyal to ACP Pradyumn and won't easily accept your leadership. Members are also grieving so every one is kind of raw and sore.

Things wouldn't feel like this if it was the situation that ACP Pradyumn had retired and he'd taken over like a natural process .

His rude manners and attitude is something he really needs to work on. But he's already proven that he's amenable to reason and persuasion if approached with politeness. Once with Abhijeet, another time with Daya. He was totally enjoying that Daya came to him for help and he was totally rubbing in on the face of Abhijeet Daya tiff . " Daya mere pass aya." , " Mein Daya ke kehene pe yaha aya hu." It shows that despite his attitude, he does crave for the attention and acceptance of veteran members .

It's like the new kid in school thing . With time things will smooth over if he continues with the team even after ACP Pradyumn comes back .

See there are 2 types of "hate" in my view when it comes to a character. Either an actor is doing such a fantastic job that you love their acting but hate their character like Ronit Roy in Udaan or Tigmanshu Dhulia in most of his films and here, and then there's the hate that a character gets for being badly written and badly acted as well like most of the star kids and their characters are getting.

In my view, Parth isn't that great of an actor and nor was the character of Anshumaan well written, so my dislike (I find hate too strong a word for any character or actor) for Anshumaan is two-fold - bad acting and bad writing.

I do agree that Parth shouldn't be getting hate on social media, but unfortunately we live in a time where an actor and a character are synonymous and the lines are blurred. But I will say that most people in this forum are hating on Anshumaan not Parth. We have a problem with the fact that a young actor was cast who is not at all a good fit for the role of ACP. It's not that every young actor would get hate, but the casting has to be right as well. Just giving orders and wearing a suit is not being ACP. There's got to be a presence, a certain aura, a charisma to being ACP. Back in 2005, Rajeev Khandelwal played ACP to Abhijeet and Daya and yeah there wasn't a lot of age gap then, but he looked the part. He wasn't just bossing the team around and wearing a suit, he was playing the part of a leader.

The hate though is also two-part. It isn't just about Parth, but also about how the PH and Sony handled the whole situation. They posted RIP for ACP Pradyuman, pretended that this was an actual exit for Satam sir, and then just dumped the news of Parth being new ACP on us. Then when they got backlash, they suddenly backed off and corrected themselves. They thought that CID don't have enough OG fans because we aren't vocal on SM. They brought Parth in (at least according to us) because of his fan following, not anything else. Then they saw that OG CID fans outnumber Parth fans and they had to correct themselves. Do you know that on most SM, Satam sir, Aditya Srivastava, and Dayanand Shetty were ranked on top 10 most spoken about for 2 weeks in a row while Parth was in top 20?

We all know that this is temporary. Satam sir hasn't gone anywhere. But we're pissed about how the PH and Sony dealt with things and then with Anshumaan and some of that hate has been misdirected. Personally, I do not think Parth is that good of an actor either, but my dislike is 100% about Anshumaan as a character and the PH and Sony mistreating us. I have nothing against Parth.

True! I agree completely!

Agree with you on everything. Parth surprised me. He acted really well in the last two episodes. His acting is actually subtle but very nuanced. The same kind of natural acting we see in web series.

To phir kr rahe hai na team uska ego cater with sir treatment sorry but if he actually is going with what he is being told and is not using his own brain then he is getting what he is giving sorry but he has passed upsc examination and is apparently topper too despite that his ego needs to be satisfied so is he even worth that position

Same goes with loyalty vale baat is he that kid that he doesn't reliaze that team has spend more than half of his life with ACP sir vo unke adarash the so being so called leader is it's not his duty to help them to cope with the loss but what he only does is either demean them and ACP Sir or sprinkle salt on their wounds.

No doubt there our such officers in reality too but they get same treatment which this fellow is getting from team and public here we can say audience

Just imagine a young prinicipal is appointed in school and he/she starts demeaning senior and most experienced teachers of the school just because he is superior to them in the post and he needs the acceptance of being the leader and head is it right?

I will just say that he is getting what he is giving and he needs to be toned down a lot if he is staying post ACP sir return
