Agree to everything you said... If it hadn't been Parth but any other young actor, then unless he is an extremely good actor to play the role of a leader perfectly, he would have received the same amount of backlash.

Also, aside from the points you raised, I'd like to add one more... Sirf orders dena is not an issue, the biggest issue with his character here is that he is a downright arrogant, infuriating, narcissistic person. Add to it the way he looks down on the entire team especially the juniors and loves to insult them at the drop of a hat. No leader should be acting in such a manner towards his/her team.

PS. Personal opinion but his acting isn't even that great either... He doesn't possess that aura, charm and charisma that can draw the people and make them believe that yes, this person IS a leader.

So you agree that any young actor will be bashed irrespective of whether they are good or not.

I watched the episodes now and I can see after watching it that Parth is doing his job really well cause his character is supposed to be hated.

People are frustrated cause they think he has replaced ACP Pradyuman, but he hasn't. It anyways is going to be a short stint only.

Anyways, he has already made you hate the character, so his job is done. Before watching the episodes I was confused that why people are hating him so much, as he is only coming back as a new ACP, it's a different character. But after seeing the episodes, I can see that he is meant to be hated, the character is like that.

Anyways, if you don't like him, that's totally fine. It's upto your taste. He has a fanbase already of his own and they know his potential. All I am saying that don't bash the actor, based on how the character is. It's not fair.

Alright... Giving my personal opinion again. Yes, we are meant to dislike his character but there are better ways for that. We absolutely dislike DCP Chitrole but we still enjoyed BP Singh sir's acting. We absolutely hate Barbosa but we absolutely love Tigmanshu sir's acting. We hated ACP Digvijay to the core during Grahan series but we liked Deepak Shirke sir's acting. We hate Suraj but Tarun is a good actor and we liked how he portrayed him. So, similarly we could hate Ayushman but we could have loved Parth's acting... But unfortunately, for me, he doesn't possess those skills to make me love his acting skills. You might find him a good actor but I don't... Again, personal preferences. I can't expect everyone to like the actors I like and the same for others.

Then, we honestly don't know which direction his character is going... Because on one side, he is insulting the CID team and burning those photos but on the other side, he is anxiously making a mad dash on hearing that gunshot sound. So, it's confusing... We don't know which direction the writers will take his character to.

Also, I don't bash the actor... never. Every time I have called him Chomu, arrogant, narcissist, A-hole or any other words, it's for Ayushman NOT for Parth. For actors, acting in shows or movies is their job, they earn money for that... So, unless an actor does something that is illegal or unethical, I am not going to hate any actor out there.

So well said barbosa is a villian and we all love to hate him even our very own chitrole sahab He used to demean team but has always considered their potential and it's a fact but still we're missing him remember that daya sir suspension episode I guess that officer who entered was DGP but every one said same thing we are missing DCP chitrole same goes for suraj and ACP digvijay

Disliking a character doesn't necessarily mean the actor's doing a great job. Sometimes it simply means that the character is trashy, and actor is horribly miscast and cannot act well.

I don’t like Parth, and before this show I only seen him in KZK2 and did not like his acting there.

I was totally against the idea of him playing an ACP. And if I think about it young ppl who get such high position actually are either super nice or they have a lot of attitude issues, and Parth’s character is the latter.

In CID, Parth is not bad actually. I kinda liked his acting here (maybe cause I had super low expectations ) Unpopular opinion but I find his character has some interesting shades. I think he’s a temp character anyway and the real ACP will be back.

I love Parth as ACP Anshyuman. I find his acting very controlled and subtle . His acting has a very international quality. Like we see in high quality web series. His character is that of a jerk but I do believe he's a positive character with various shades and Parth is playing all the layers perfectly. And he's looking absolutely gorgeous.

I loved how he yielded and agreed to Abhijeet about the NGO and gave him full power and freedom, " Jo karna hai karo, jaise karna hai karo . "

I feel he can feel the hostility and lack of acceptance from the old CID team members ( for good reason). Yes he's arrogant , but from his pov , he came here on the basis of his qualifications and if he's not connected to ACP Pradyumn death then he's no reason to be okay with it.

Also, we all know he's talking to ACP Pradyumn on phone , right?

I was kind of staying out of this topic simply because I didn't want anyone to think I was being biased, but I have to respond to this and explain our side of things as OG CID fans.

See there are 2 types of "hate" in my view when it comes to a character. Either an actor is doing such a fantastic job that you love their acting but hate their character like Ronit Roy in Udaan or Tigmanshu Dhulia in most of his films and here, and then there's the hate that a character gets for being badly written and badly acted as well like most of the star kids and their characters are getting.

In my view, Parth isn't that great of an actor and nor was the character of Anshumaan well written, so my dislike (I find hate too strong a word for any character or actor) for Anshumaan is two-fold - bad acting and bad writing.

I do agree that Parth shouldn't be getting hate on social media, but unfortunately we live in a time where an actor and a character are synonymous and the lines are blurred. But I will say that most people in this forum are hating on Anshumaan not Parth. We have a problem with the fact that a young actor was cast who is not at all a good fit for the role of ACP. It's not that every young actor would get hate, but the casting has to be right as well. Just giving orders and wearing a suit is not being ACP. There's got to be a presence, a certain aura, a charisma to being ACP. Back in 2005, Rajeev Khandelwal played ACP to Abhijeet and Daya and yeah there wasn't a lot of age gap then, but he looked the part. He wasn't just bossing the team around and wearing a suit, he was playing the part of a leader.

The hate though is also two-part. It isn't just about Parth, but also about how the PH and Sony handled the whole situation. They posted RIP for ACP Pradyuman, pretended that this was an actual exit for Satam sir, and then just dumped the news of Parth being new ACP on us. Then when they got backlash, they suddenly backed off and corrected themselves. They thought that CID don't have enough OG fans because we aren't vocal on SM. They brought Parth in (at least according to us) because of his fan following, not anything else. Then they saw that OG CID fans outnumber Parth fans and they had to correct themselves. Do you know that on most SM, Satam sir, Aditya Srivastava, and Dayanand Shetty were ranked on top 10 most spoken about for 2 weeks in a row while Parth was in top 20?

We all know that this is temporary. Satam sir hasn't gone anywhere. But we're pissed about how the PH and Sony dealt with things and then with Anshumaan and some of that hate has been misdirected. Personally, I do not think Parth is that good of an actor either, but my dislike is 100% about Anshumaan as a character and the PH and Sony mistreating us. I have nothing against Parth.
