I haven’t but there’s always google baba na ? It’s not like D3 is some obscure show that no one would have watched. People do share their views about their favourite characters and sequences. I’ll pick their thoughts and ofc add my own. But yeah I guess we don’t have time for that.

Taani :

Celebrating the sweet and gentle Taani : a caring sister, a fierce lover

Right from the moment she was introduced on the show, Taani remained a controversial character; a trait she maintained till she left. Her introduction as Swayam's sister opened up the world to Swayam's family background, giving everyone a much wanted look into the mysterious character's origins. Yet, her crush on Rey and attempts at imitating Kriya put off the fans.

Despite all the flak she received for it, Taani managed to gain a broad fanbase of her own - the ones who saw her for who she was. The loving sister who saw the pain her brother was suffering through and tried to support him in her own ways, even if she couldn't speak up against her Tauji. The possessive girlfriend who was madly in love and merely wanted her relationship to flourish at all costs, but her methods were too crude to sustain it.

And therein lies an interesting dichotomy - for every positive that Taani had, her bumbling and sometimes outright manipulative ways made her the villain in other's eyes. There was an innocence to her crush, but cheating her way on to the Weaklings dance team only to gain Rey's affection gave her the wrong start with the rest of the gang. It continued further when she asked Rey to drop out of the dance team so as to not displease her Tauji who hated dance. What could be seen as a girl trying her best to make her family approve the guy she loved, nearly ended up breaking the group and her relationship to boot.

But behind all these actions was a naive, innocent girl - one who didn't understand the consequences of her action till it was too late. And this imperfectly perfect character was brought to life by Vrinda Dawda, who put her heart into it and turned this gray character into a lovable one. Her love for her Prince Charming led her to take some extreme steps without thinking them through and when she finally came out of her fantasy world, it was to rise as a strong woman who realized that she and Rey were not meant to be. Her maturity was displayed when she said -

Main aapko uss Rey ki tarah apni yaadon main rakhna chahti hun, jisse maine pyaar kiya tha. Jiske liye main sab kuch chod kar Jodhpur se Mumbai aai thi, apni aankhon par kaali patti baandh kar. Aur ab... ab jab wo patti khul gayi hai toh, khuli aakhon se ye sheher chodkar ja rahi hun.

And as she bid adieu to the show, we wished her luck with her fiancé Vishesh, someone who saw beyond all her flaws to the sweet and charming girl inside.

SIMMI MALHOTRA

The Silent Strength of the Gang

Simmi was never the loudest voice in the room—but she never needed to be. Her presence spoke volumes. She started off as part of the dazzlers—stylish, popular, always in sync with Sharon. But what made Simmi stand out was that she grew, adapted, and matured without losing her core.

At first glance, Simmi was all things glam—fashionable, confident, and a perfect fit in the elite crowd. But behind the high heels and perfect makeup was a girl who quietly observed, learned, and evolved. She wasn’t blindly loyal she had a mind of her own. And as time passed, she stopped being a sidekick and became someone who stood up, spoke up, and showed up especially for her friends.

Her friendship with Sharon was rock solid. Simmi never overshadowed, never demanded she simply understood. She saw through Sharon’s cold facade and stayed by her side through meltdowns, breakups, and breakthroughs. Her faith never wavered.

But Simmi’s biggest transformation was her own confidence. She went from being part of the backdrop to carving her space in the team, the gang, and even on the dance floor. She embraced unity when the Dazzlers and Weaklings became one, showing that she valued people more than labels.

And let’s not forget Simmi had sass. Her one-liners, her unimpressed looks, her casual “I told you so” moments she owned them all with a quiet charm. She wasn’t dramatic, but she could shut down nonsense with a single look or a perfectly timed comment.

One of her most classic line

"Drama ka quota already full hai, so please… don’t add yours."

Delivered with her signature smirk, it was peak Simmi calm, composed, and cool as ever.

Simmi’s character proves that strength doesn’t always come with noise, sometimes, it’s steady, graceful, and always there when it matters.

NILESH: The Beat Behind the Banter

Loud, Loyal, and Full of Life

Nilesh was the pulse of the D3 gang—the one who brought energy to every room, humour to every situation, and a beat to every performance. At first glance, he was the comic relief, the guy who cracked the weirdest jokes, danced like a machine, and turned every sentence into a rap line. But behind all that, there was a fiercely loyal friend, a surprisingly emotional soul, and a boy who felt everything a little deeper than he showed.

His love for dance wasn’t just a passion it was an identity. Hip-hop was his language, and the stage was where he truly came alive. He wasn’t the one delivering long speeches or diving into drama, but when it came to supporting his team, his gang, and his people Nilesh never backed down.

His friendship with Vicky was legendary a bromance full of chaos, laughter, and unspoken trust. Together, they brought comic timing, perfect synchronization on stage, and some of the wildest dance battles ever seen in the show.

But Nilesh wasn’t all jokes and swag. His bond with Simmi showed us his softer, more grounded side. She balanced him out, and he, in turn, made her smile in ways few others could. Their chemistry wasn’t about grand gestures; it was built on understanding, shared glances, goofy bickering, and quiet loyalty. Around Simmi, Nilesh wasn’t just the funny guy he was real, caring, and even a little vulnerable.

And while others often overlooked him, Nilesh always noticed everything when a friend was low, when tension brewed in the group, or when someone just needed a little push. He was never too busy to be there.
