What I seriously don’t understand is why these “moral policing” and don’t troll, be mature posts magically appear only when something bad is said about the leads..Where was this so-called “intelligent thinking ” when people were trolling Ruhi, Vidya, or Kaveri? No one was crying about “it’s just a show” back then.
Now suddenly when it's about your fave, y’all wanna act like saints preaching peace and maturity. Every character is fictional jeez, not just the ones you don’t like. So stop with the selective outrage. It's getting so repetitive If people think it’s totally fine to troll Ruhi—wish miscarriage, her baby’s death, or even her own death—and call it “just fiction,” then why does it suddenly become a moral issue when someone trolls Abhira? How come when it’s about Ruhi (fictional character) , it’s fun and harmless trolling, but when it’s about Abhira( fictional character) , people start giving lectures on society, morals, and values?
And let’s not forget—the same kind of people who say “don’t stoop so low to troll a fictional character” are the ones who clapped and cheered when another fictional woman was getting dragged left, right, and center. Here’s the truth: If trolling one fictional character is wrong, then trolling all fictional characters is wrong. You can’t pick and choose when to bring ethics into fandom conversations just because your preferred character is under fire.
So yeah, don’t play moral police only when your fave gets hit. Keep the same energy for all, or admit the double standards. Because at the end of the day, all these characters are fictional—and if someone is okay with trolling one, they have no moral ground to police others. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
