U know all average players no one wanted to touch looked so different under him..I heard one time he said if a bowler was hit for three sixes he should still concentrate on last ball left..they back their players...they don't throw them out after one bad match ...that confidence helps ..I don't know i miss MSD as captain..it's not same without him..I miss his post match presentations...

I had witness Ms captaincy both in in ICT nd CSK he used to guide almost every bowlers (especially new commers) then his fielding set up... Was so pin point

He has that confidence in his players to back then... To encourage them

He used to motivate them...

His presentation were sabu sassy cool.. I used to love Ms then Vk post match convo baki ka fiks lagta

It honestly looks like Dhoni is saying nothing tabhi itne blunders ho rahe hain. Specially when Jadeja is not completing his spell, I am sure target kam ka hota. & Mukesh ka poora spell complete karwaya when we was being the worst bowler of this match.

People like it or hate it, CSK is successful due to Dhoni. Otherwise Fleming ke bas ka toh bilkul nahi hain.

We were trolled as the daddies team, having all the oldest players in the team, still we managed to win and how. That was a comeback that is etched in history.. now despite having youngsters we are loosing, not because they are incapable but we are not using them to their strengths. It is not that Flemings is a bad catch, maybe Dhoni has told him to keep quite, to let Rutu take his own decisions and make his own mistakes. While I appreciate his initiative to groom Rutu into being a good captain, the team is facing demoralizing losses which is sad.

Rutu is playing a game of favorites what with Tripathi, Dube and now this Mukesh, who plays for Maharashtra. Problem is everyone used to like and respect MS, and he never had to play favourites. varna Rutu or management Faf, Ingdi or Santner ko jaane kyun dete ? This time the pick itself has been mid which is why we are not firing. Dhoni cannot be everywhere and expecting him to finish matches is absurd. And to be honest, its not about winning the trophy, its about the intent and passion to win, woh spark hi missing hai.

VK was and is an invaluable player and he was a decent captain. Rohit on the other hand is a really good captain, no matter if he contributes with the bat or not. Comparing Rutu with them is not fair to them.

I used to loveeee MS's post match presentation.. winning or loosing it did not matter. He used to calm and answer to the point, igiving due credit to the deserved players and the opposite team players, instead of saying we lost by just 50 runs

I stopped taking an active interest when he retired as the captain, but that was purely personal. He is one of a kind player and Rutu should learn when he has the opportunity. Not saying Rutu is a bad captain, but he certainly needs to work on his skills, and answers in post match presentations.

Congratulations to RR for their win against PBKS.

Chasing over 200 against an in-form Archer and a varied bowling lineup like RR's was always going to test this form PBKS side and they have faltered. But Shreyas feels they will come back stronger from this. Let's wait and watch.
