We can't say Abhir is gone on his blood alone, upbringing does have a lot to do so both birlas blood and Akshara and Abhinav's upbringing is at faulty.

And if we blame blood, then we can also blame Akshara's blood which she had inherited from her father Karthik who too had an affair with his ex-wife Naira while he was married to Vedika.
