Yes, Dhoni is not the burden..All of a sudden for the teams lousy performance and captains poor decisions Dhoni was being called out. Even he comes at No 7/8 ,if the top order is not performing, a finisher cannot be blamed. Dhoni is not playing bad..

When a team is selected I am assuming 15 odd people are there in team. How the heck dhoni isn't eating one place? It's basic logic. I can say same thing for Rohit koach bumrah siraj eating one place. They are getting a seat which could have gone to another person. Basic logic. But the difference is these people are getting auction money cause of their current form. Thala for a reason for nostalgia. What a job he has, come to 8/9 place play some balls leave and his own team celebrate other getting out. Yesterday people celebrated him and no comment on captain unprofessional comments that 50 runs losing no big deal. If it was said by Rohit you can just see the backlash. When he said siraj wasn't fit for champions trophy it was a drama too. But since it's thala chalta hai.

Rohit and Virat won't play till they are 43 and fans are making excuse for them. They had the common sense to retire from international games as per the timing. Rohit has hardik a new guy over him as a captain. Virat left india captaincy within a lot of drama and openly said about biasness. These two don't give a rats ass. When they are eating some deserving 20 something kids place which can be a new star, if I am alive I will bash them too. Especially Virat. Rohit does a lot of pr drama not really attached to him.

It's just in India forums thala is mollycoddled. In twitter insta reddit he's and captain getting ripped and rightfully so.

Rayudu even talks against Dhoni, he literally said yesterday that he doesn't like fans cheering for him when other CSK player gets out. & Yesterday, he was the only Hindi Commentator who was supporting VK when all were talking against him.

Dhoni literally retired from Test when he thought he wasn't contributing enough, even when he was one of the highest scorers in that series. he retired in 2020 during covid, even when he was the 2nd highest scorer in WC SF and won POS in Australia in 2019.

When Dhoni gave VK Captaincy in 2017 so that VK can make his own team and get time before WC 2019.

He left International Cricket in 2019, and after that, he is not answerable to those who anyway wait for a chance to criticize him.

This is IPL a entertainment league.

The CSK owner has clearly they are not here to make players bcoz they already do a lot of good work at the regional level.

It is not our National team where someone is taking someone's place.

But Dhoni and VK are crowd pullers; people may like or hate them, but they will play as long as they want bcoz their franchise needs them the most for the brand.

& IPL is all about brand, money and TRPs.

That's why I have never talked about VK's place in RCB in whatever form he is in. Bcoz that is RCB and their owners buisness.
