Episode when Ar first met Shivani also had good trp.. In other episodes whatever ss she had was as Rk's mother and had not much influence on track as such, so you can't say that she didn't bring trp. ( or she brought trp also for that matter)..

I agree. Recently they have just been showing shivani either at the mandir or the neighbors house. She literally doesnt live in that house

And the few scenes they show of her is always trying to feed aaru and aaru keeps mentioning “oh no i like vv making this that” etc even after the 5 month leap. You think he would know how to converse with his mummy at this point when he has had no contact with vv

I know it but still not satisfied with screen space given to Shivani. My point is trp is good but she deserves many more

The whole point is Shivani was brought in as a cameo & a plot device to reunite abhimaan temporarily..that's all & once the reunion happened,they sidelined her completely bcoz Maa is vidya & madhav's wife too

That's why she was pushed in background & no bonding scenes with Arman bcoz uski maa vidya hi hai 😭

So the entire debate if she brought trp or not is pointless as her role was supposed to be for a short time only that too only for abhimaan's temporary reunion

Shivani I believe was anyways planned for a short time only specific for track, mainly because they cant have both the leads away from PH for long..Ar had to be got back to PH one way or the other.. iv from the actress also had enough indications that it was a short period role, though in itv things could get changed anytime

The reason they never showed Armaan-Shivani bonding and him growing closer to her is because they knew he would have to eventually go back to being Vidya Poddar ka beta and it would not have been digestible if they showed him have a better bond with Shivani. Hence they limited those scenes and instead focussed on whitewashing Vidya by making her supposedly repent and be his silent cheerleader, talk back at Dadisa and even make nice with Shivani. Now TRP audience will toh definitely buy this mother-son bonding nonsense.
