Idk why sometimes I feel Celebrity Masterchef India is the Celebrity version of Junior Masterchef India

For those who watched Junior Masterchef will kinda get it

Gaurav is just like that kid who won Junior Masterchef and he was a mature boy and also vegeterian factor

And then Nikki is like the kid who came as runner up, she was a stubborn kid and always complained and was competitive

Coincidentally Gaurav and Nikki are the rumoured winner and runner up too

And I feel this time the judges sided with Gaurav..but to sort matters out he must’ve apologised

No she was not it was chef Vikas, chef kunal and someone else but the thing those were kids although I didn’t like some of their behavior but these people are adult and they are not behaving like one.

Finally lets discuss the 8th part of a episode. Sab shukar manayen k aakhir yeh episode khatam hua. Soo.. lets talk about dishes.

Nikki : sabko pata tha when ranveer said "nikki gusse mein acha khana bnati hai" it means aaj nikki kala pathar b rakhegi to bhi she'll win. Anyway, she made some balls with butter chicken, her plate looked decent, non-messy. Taste to butter chicken ka wese e sabko acha lagta hai, maybe executed well. Personally mjhe ball banana koi bara kaam nhn laga k sab pagal e hogaye theyyy. Matlab ranveer ka bas na chalta to wo teja se knife lekar ise dedeta. And farah was going bonkers while kissing her hand. No surprises there btw.

2. Gaurav : I liked his concept. As always he tried some innovation. It went well. But even when he was describing his dish, mjhe b lagrha tha knthere are just too many elements to dish uth kar shayad naa aaye. Or wesa e hua. Par agar esa na b kiya hota usne, to bhi use top to nhn dete we all know that.

3. Rajiv, Rajma kache they, no surprises there. Dish was not al all worthy of presentation. So no commets.

4. Teja : It was just a nihari in a bowl. No need to say anything.

5. Archana : yaar I dont what wrong with chefs, mjhe to uski dosh ki presentation or concept acha laga. Masterchef level e laga. Maybe taste mein garbar hui ho usolpe definetely tokna chahye nit presentaion was wow for me.

6. Usha Ok, can somebody confirm did she ACTUALLY served plain chicken tikka in 8th week of MASTERCHEF??? I did not Believe my eyes. And chef were going gag a over it. They BOWED DOWN INFRONT OF HERR!!!!! My God. I respect her but com'on yaaarrrr!! Why I am personally triggered by this is that its Ramazan going on and I am making chicken tikka samosa almost EVERY 3rd day for past 1 month in Iftaar!! Mtlb un se zyada innovation to I believe mene karli hogi by mixin chicken tikka in various styles 🤦🤦🤦

Now lets come to drama part of episode.

Loved loved loved how rajiv, gaurav and archana played in auction. I remember sachin from season 7 usne bhi ese e last mein apna poora time bachaya tha or he won. Thank GOD gaurav did the same .. i am happppyyyyyy ❤️❤️❤️

Ab nikki k drame k kiya e kehne, i know gaurav was joking with archana and rajiv, nikki was just pissed off him and she made a scene out of it..I don't think k gaurav ne usk saath masti ki. Lekin han agar gaurav ne usk saath masti ki ho (jo k humen nhn dikhaya gaya) even when she was in bas mood, and she is not his friend, to it was wrong. Par uspe bhi itna wild reaction nhn banta hai.

What made me sad particularly is judges behaviour towards this fiasco. Very very disappointing. Specialy farah,woto peeche e par gayi thi gaurav k. Glad he gave it back to her even. Such an idiot she is.

So I caught up on fridays and today’s episode!!

First things first, what on earth was Rajiv thinking? How can he not realize that his papdi chaat will get soggy?

Gaurav and Archana clearly had an advantage being from North India. And I’m glad they won. Gaurav played it smart by serving the sides separately, that way you add as much chutney as you want. And he was lucky that Archanas dish was tasted first and he knew the dahi was too sweet so he used less of the sounth chutney.
Usha Tai is a pain. She just won’t adjust with Rajiv (or Archana). Glad the faults pointed out by the judges in her plating were exactly what Rajiv told her.

Todays episode:

I love auctions. I do remember Sachin from a previous season and how he managed to make everyone lose time and had all the time for himself. Gaurav did the same. Just wished he reduced Nikki’s time further. But I’m sure Nikki wouldn’t bid much more. Rajiv was the perfect little devil!! Loved it!!

Gaurav’s dish sounded like it had too many elements and to me half the chutneys made no sense. Also why use mushrooms?

Archanas dish looked good to me. The judges seem to not like anything she does.

How does Usha tai get away with serving just about anything? Rajiv, Archana and Teja didn’t innovate because the served the dishes as they are supposed to be, but tai didn’t get the same feedback? Different rules for different people?

Honestly, balls of different ingredients have been done many times, but it’s a safe bet. So kudos to Nikki for that. She’s smarter than what we give her credit for. But her drama, makes me hate her even more (if that’s possible).
