Garuda wouldn't refuse a chance to help/participate in Lord Vishnu's work. Besides he wouldn't let go of a chance to feast on the snakes or at least scare them away. It was better in NDTVI Ramayan where Hanuman sings and Garuda comes over.

But, yes, I agree with the extra creatures part...

Zombies, lion clowns and crazy creatures were tiresome to watch...

In rs ramayan Hanuman explained the situation and garud agreed

If u see the very first episode of this smr Vishnu says he is taking entire vaikunth with him.

Rs ramayan Hanuman tells garud that this is Prabhu ki leela and for this purpose garud was left behind so he can help Prabhu at that time

As for Garuda, according to some texts he doesn't always reside in Vaikuntha. Some texts mention Garuda's residence as a gigantic silk cotton tree (semal tree, I think) in an island. Since a lot of eagles build their nests in this tree (it's tall and wide with bright red flowers that can hide the eagles), this story could have come up. According to some texts Garuda lives in Mahendra Giri, a mystical mountain where many diverse ne beings live. Parashurama is said to have retired to this mountain after donating the Earth to Rishi Kashyapa. In some texts there is a seperate Garuda Loka somewhere in the celestial region.

Garuda is capable of flying very fast, so, he could be in front of Lord Vishnu in an instant when summoned.

If Garuda lives elsewhere, maybe Mahendra Giri, Lord Vishnu probably left him out since he wasn't living in Vaikuntha.

In the Legend of Hanuman, Garuda came by himself and Hanuman was desperately trying to find a way to save Rama and Lakshmana. Despite being a series on Hanuman they didn't force Hanuman to bring Garuda, that was nice to see. But we get a ghost Rama who is out of his body watching events unfold (not sure if this was in Nagapasha or when Indrajit attacks with other weapons... but I remember seeing him talk with Garuda)

In Valmiki Ramayana, Hanuman was unconscious until Garuda arrived, I think.

I had always wondered if Vishnu was taking the entire Vaikuntha with him, that would mean all his assistants, devotees and door keepers, etc... who were all of these people incarnated as? Maybe people of Ayodhya? But it doesn't make sense for them to speak badly of Queens Sita if that was the case... Possibly vanaras?

Also, Vaikuntha is massive and all of Vaikuntha may not fit on the Earth... If we consider the fact that all of Swarga too had to come down to the Earth to help Rama... That's a lot of beings...

just watching the last few episodes of the show..kid hanuman overacts IMO..anyhow it was like hanuman flying on jet speed to elsewhere (swastik are so funny amateurish editing lol) jatayu trying to stop hanuman from going suryalokhonestly, sayali is doing good as anjana but overall execution is just bland..

That is very interesting

But I doubt any makers show exactly as per text.

As I say they take some popular story and add it for effects.

See these PPL were super strong PPL

And that's how viewer see them

I myself see sheshnaag very powerful and being subdued I can't understand

So PPL if they see strong person failing it creates mixed reactions

In rs ramayan no one knew the tod of naagpaash not even vibhishan

That's why it was shown Hanuman using his buddhi and getting garud

It served two purposes

Gaurd became part of leela of Vishnu

And naag ka sworn enemy is garud.

So he only is the tod of naagpaash.

Smr garud was shown living in palace type house from where he was brought

When we say garud flies fast and reaches to his lord

Here he was not summoned by Vishnu as ramji

Swastik is turning kids into brats with overacting in trying to look cute

I still get put off by kesari and bali

Sugreev is same actor but still not appealing

Now malhar was too good both as bali and sugreev.
