After 16 months of watching this show, I realised only today that some of the lyrics (violet) of the title song are absurd !!

Saahil kaise kahi jaate hai koi mujhe batlao!!I was always distracted with what is going on on the screen to notice this before. The lyrics for the female portion of the song thankfully make total sense and also reflect the OG storyline of opposites resisting their mutual attraction.

Is this song from a movie or an original title song for the show? It's lovely.

Sahil - I thought means ferry / ferryman / guide. But seems like main meaning is shore.

If shore, I think the line means the shores disappeared in waves of love. [Love has overtaken(?).... or shores have submerged in love.]

[If guide... think the meaning is less poetic.]

It becomes 'full of love'.

I think it is an original composition for the show, but the other one that is always playing - Apna bana le - is from a movie (Bhediya)

"In pyaar ki lehron mein dil ke saahil gaye".... another way to look at the line will be taking saahil as "the guide". In waves of love, the guides of the heart (generally the voice of conscience) left. May not have been the intended meaning, but fits well with Amruta.
