It's kinda sad to see Burhan being labeled as foolish, especially when Asim, who waited for years for someone as passive as Bisma, isn’t being given the same judgment. Why is Nashwa being called cold-hearted, when she has done everything in her power for the well-being of her mother? A truly cold-hearted person would be entirely self-centered, putting their own desires above everyone else’s. But Nashwa sacrificed so much for the sake of her mom— making countless sacrifices, even when it means her own happiness is put on hold.

In the same vein, just as Faryal and any other female character has the right to choose her life partner, Burhan, too, deserves that same autonomy. His right to choose shouldn’t be undermined. Similarly, while Faryal's strength and courage are admirable, it's important to recognize that she has a solid foundation: a loving family, financial security, and unwavering parental support. It's easier to stand firm when you know you have a safety net beneath you. Faryal's character is strong because she's had the privilege of support from her parents, which gives her the courage to speak her truth and take a stand.

But Nashwa’s reality couldn’t be more different. She’s grown up with no safety net. She’s always been on her own, bearing the weight of a harsh, tragic childhood. Her mother's timidness and the family's financial dependency on the taya have left her feeling isolated and vulnerable. Even basic comforts like having an AC in her room were things she couldn’t take for granted, let alone the emotional support she so desperately needed. From a young age, Nashwa had to fend for herself, navigating a world where the people who should have supported her were either too afraid to act or too absorbed in their own struggles. The emotional toll of growing up in such a cold, oppressive environment is immense. It's not easy to simply rise above this, to suddenly find the strength to stand up for herself when she's never had anyone to back her.

The recent episodes have made it glaringly obvious how trapped Nashwa feels. Her taya is not just emotionally abusive—he's shown that he’s willing to go to any lengths to control her, even resorting to violence, as seen with Maheen's case. Nashwa could have walked away and left the suffocating grip of Barkhat Villa, but she chose not to. She stayed, not out of submission, but because she understood the cost of leaving—she knew the toll it would take on hermother. This decision required an immense amount of strength, the kind that only someone who has endured such hardship could possess. She didn’t just give up or succumb to her circumstances; she chose to fight, to stand tall in the face of overwhelming adversity.

Nashwa's journey isn’t about being cold-hearted or uncaring. It’s about survival. It's about finding a way to be strong in a world that has constantly put her down. Her character is defined not by the easy choices she could have made but by the difficult ones—ones that required sacrifice, courage, and, above all, a sense of responsibility to the ones she loves. She may not have the luxury of a secure, loving family like Faryal, but that doesn't make her any less deserving of understanding or empathy. fact, it makes her strength even more remarkable.

Burhan loves Nashwa and not faryal. Ab jabardasti toh nahi kar sakte. Nashwa's sacrifice is so much undermined.

She also likes Burhan , and given other circumstances she would be getting married to him asap. But , she has to take responsibility of her mother's happiness. She is not avoiding him intentionally. Burhan has his own will , if he doesn't want faryal , why to force him ? Also it's not fair to faryal to marry a person who doesn't want her. She herself said this.

There's no ml of that kind by that definition. At a glance or by looking at the story summary, no sherry Wahaj and Bilal would pick up a project where they're mostly supporting.

This is not a ml driven story. This is not a romance central story. But the shippers have closed their eyes and ears.

There is an equal mix of bakhtiyar, Asim, burhan with a side of Ammar.

We need to come out of the ddlj type hero heroine solid rigid mentality. I remember the Yumna fans screaming that it's a social with a specific focus on mother daughter relationship and women's rights and now suddenly it's a romance centric drama? Very strange to shift the goal post as needed to serve their shipping.

The story uniquely focuses on Bisma -Nashwa. Burhan is an excellent role. He is very well written. I haven't seen one like this before . If A list actors were clever, they'd have picked it up. Maybe hum cannot afford them even.

I feel unfortunately it got a little sidelined by the Ammar's mysterious character.

This is not on Burhan - the written character but Usama. I'm sorry but the guy has been here since 2018 but his voice is monotone and he swallows his words. Sometimes unclear. He is doing okay but it's crazy to see people come out of the forest with his acting being at Wahaj and Bilal's level. People comparing him to Murstasim or shahmir level of acting makes me stare at the dry wall. Where were they when Ghair and SMD were airing?

And Mysterious is not equal to loving an enabler. Repeating again if there's an issue with comprehending this.

People see chemistry and can pick it up. That being right or wrong is a whole different matter.

Lmfao 😆. What do you expect from such stupid fans?I mean obsessing over the actor is fine but trying to justify a gross character like ammar n wanting him to end up with nashwa because he is eye pleasing is problematic.

Idk why social issue dramas shifted their focus to romance i remember watching the promos of ATSH they promised us to give a toxic hero full on negetive through farhan but they made him as a sweet bubbly guy similar to roshi and instead made sahir a villain and i do agree with your points haven't watched any of his other shows besides smd, dobara, ASA and IJ i quit watching ghair because they wasted adeel's character and brought an unnecessary character like shifa i don't know why ptv is obsessed with making other female character a villain?? Can't we have a proper solo male villain only hum dono did it right

To be honest, the true "heroes" of the show are Bisma, Nashwa, and all the other characters like Asim, Burhan, and Ammar. They really drive the story forward, while the others act more as catalysts. I’m honestly puzzled as to why some people are comparing Usama to Bilal and Wahaj—it’s honestly an insult to both Wahaj and Bilal. Haha. While Usama might be better in this series compared to his roles in Ghair and SMD, that doesn’t mean he’s the best. Definitely not. To be fair, both Nameer and Usama are the weakest actors in Qej.

Usama lacks screen presence and voice modulation, while Nameer tends to have a one-tone expression in most of his scenes. The only thing going for him is that he's pleasing to look at, which some people enjoy.

The true heroes of a show are the ones who carry it, and aside from these two, the other actors—DP, SS, FR, Tazeen, and Yumzi—are definitely holding their own and bringing a lot to the table. So, in my opinion, all of these actors should be considered the real heroes of the show.

There is a very solid reason. Even the big wig producers like kaddu or even writers are now pressurized by hyper social media fan who are online 24/7 to change the story to save their ship. Remember when they made TB trend across the world and shamed and named 7th sky? So that Murstasim doesn't do what Ammar is accused of? They are being hypocrites in my personal opinion.

They do not enjoy story or arc. They do not respect writers or directors. They love bomb so much. It's like they let them know that we took you high and can bring you down also. They think that they made their drama famous so they are owed their ship and romance, story jayey bahar main.

Even if story no longer makes any sense still give us googly eyes.

This was not the case 6-7 years ago. Ab to aisa hi hai. I don't blame anyone. It's just how sm works.

Same thought. For once, why can't we have an ending where Nashwa wins the case, divorces Ammar, and moves to a peaceful place to live happily on her own? I mean, whether she ends up with Burhan or not shouldn't even be the focus. The real question should be whether she can break free from that toxic environment and remove the shackles holding her back. That should be the true victory.

If anyone wants Ammar - Nashwa. He's an enabler there no out....that just crazy. They cannot show that he did not contact her and he didn't know when she was in the hospital. Is there a way to explain it away?

We can only hope for another drama for N-Y. No matter how bland Usama is, one can't say that it's because of that one wants A-N.

I'm seeing an increase in Ammar Nashwa shipping..now openly. I can't judge as they asking for a change is the same as ppl asking for TB. Though in TB it was mostly out of character for M but M always warned of qiyamat lana and his temper. Here it makes even less sense. They still made murstasim innocent...we all saw too much in the promo! So we knew. But here we can't judge these young shippers as they know if they do zid and trend then they'll get their ending

I just hope story is not impacted by Ammar Nashwa or Nashwa Burhan. Give me what's written and what makes sense. If it's logical that's all that matters.
