When the first rains hit the city, Riteish Deshmukh's spirits dampened slightly. It was time to say adieu to the summers and delicious Alphonso mangoes.

"Hapoos is my favourite fruit. Every year, I would wait eagerly to gobble them. But this year, for the first time in my life I didn't eat mangoes," confesses Riteish regretfully.

This is because the actor is on a strict fitness regime. His trainer Vinod makes sure that with a workout, Riteish follows his diet religiously. "You know, without a good diet, even if one works out all day, the results won't show," tells the actor.

No wonder then that Riteish has been sporting a well-sculpted look off late. Speaking about his role as a fun-loving Paglu in De Talli, the actor says that it's a cool, full of pranks character. The flick is directed by E Niwas and produced by Ravi Walia.

Riteish's friend Aftab Shivdasani is his co-star, so the revelry on the sets has been great. Female co-stars include pretty Ayesha Takia and Rimii Sen. This being another fun flick, isn't he tired of comedies? "Well, people loved me in that avatar. But I will soon be seen in another romantic flick. So, you can judge that change," he says.

With a hectic schedule to keep up with, Riteish does miss home. "We have started eating more dinners and lunches at home after my elder brother Amit got married to Aditi. Aditi is really sweet. And due to her, our family has come closer," says the actor.
After brother's wedding, is Riteish planning something too? What about Jacqueline Fernandes? "That's news to me. I would like to deny this. She's my co-star in Alladin and that's about it. It's not Genelia D'Souza either," he adds rather quickly.

A die-hard cricket buff, Riteish found time to watch the last over of the IPL final between Rajasthan and Chennai. "I love playing cricket. In fact, Aftab often joins me and my friends for a game. We book the ground and play.
