See , nowadays most of the crimes are related to violence against women and children , kind of stuff that can not be shown in CID as it's a family show. They've got a bit of a tricky situation here. The types of crime they can show is awfully limited. Also, in today's day and age , with technological advancement, those type of crimes that they're allowed to show will be laughably easy to solve . Fir to koi suspense , koi tension kuch bhi nehi rahegi .

That's why they take their cases to isolated places like jungle , island in the middle of ocean , aeroplane , train etc. To bring in some suspense and mystery and provide somewhat challenge to the team .

Speaking about logic, in one of the episode of 2017 or 2018 (I don't remember correctly the year), they telecasted a most blunder story. Daya who is 45+ age have an enemy from the college he attended (Peon from the college), and they telecasted it like Daya graduated from the College within 10 years. At least Mr.BP Singh should have reviewed the stories.

Bhai iss episode mein Abhijeet Sir itne kam kiu the? Actually in quite a few episodes this season, Abhijeet was shown very less or sidelined He's equally popular as Daya and ACP....why not giving him more importance and screen space?

If the murder happened inside the Mumbai City (as in Season 1 1998 to 2014), then the murderer will be easily get caught as there is CCTV every where. That is why in today's episode, they brought the matter of CCTV in between dialogues.
