Remember that promo scene few weeks ago? Purvi was telling Shreya: "Tumhare papa ko Kuch nhi hoga". Wo scene to abhi tak kisi episode mein nhi aaya i think 🤔 🤔

That scene was supposed to be shown in that episode where Purvi ko cement mein daala tha...I wanted to see some interaction btw shreya and the CID members(especially Purvi) but yeah...they didn't show

But yr uska mjhe smajh ni aaya where would that had fit in the story because abhi sir was not even alone in that whole episode or stuck some where pankaj or daya sir was with him vo jb precap me bhw aaya tha tab bhe I was like might be he will stuck some where but it was purvi who was in danger ya to they might have shot it for some episode jo aaya hi ni because I had seen some bts whole cid team was in abhi sir house because shreya was serving and purvi was wearing same suit (if I remember it correctly)

Have you not got the logic of showing jungle in every episode?

If the murder happened inside the Mumbai City (as in Season 1 1998 to 2014), then the murderer will be easily get caught as there is CCTV every where. That is why in today's episode, they brought the matter of CCTV in between dialogues.

The Episode was Excellent. Really liked the character of Dr.Salunke's Niece.

See , nowadays most of the crimes are related to violence against women and children , kind of stuff that can not be shown in CID as it's a family show. They've got a bit of a tricky situation here. The types of crime they can show is awfully limited. Also, in today's day and age , with technological advancement, those type of crimes that they're allowed to show will be laughably easy to solve . Fir to koi suspense , koi tension kuch bhi nehi rahegi .

That's why they take their cases to isolated places like jungle , island in the middle of ocean , aeroplane , train etc. To bring in some suspense and mystery and provide somewhat challenge to the team .

But don't you guys think it has become quite monotonous now out of last four three episodes were based on it more than jungles its these supernatural powers gilehri, barasinga, jalte kadam, shrap etc . these things are way too irritating. I feel they can show violence against women and children with balance or to an extent because firstly kids are way too smart then they were 10 yrs back secondly it can become very good medium to teach with various things like how to safeguard themselves especially for kids

Tbh, I'd never want my kids to be exposed to such stuff even for education purpose , so definitely a no from me. Such things ruin innocence of childhood. Before reaching teenage years atleast no kid should be exposed to such stuff , is my opinion.

Moreover , I myself watch CID because it's crime show devoid of gross vulgarity, gore ,cruelty, sexual violence against woman and children , swearing , religious violence . Or else I'd have watched Pataal Lok or The family man or literally hundreds of web series available. I like the fact that CID is free from such filth. It's my comfort show that I watch with my sister .

Plus , I'd not say it's monotonous at all. Yes , the haunted house and the gilheri monster were somewhat similar. But both Barasingha and Jalti kadam were quite different. The barasingha episode was more Salunkhe focused and there's this whole family drama happening at his house.

After watching the burning footstep episode I'm shocked to see its being called a jungle episode. Jungle where ? All the murders happened in the city , not even on the outskirts . The entire backdrop is the city . The cursed land is a field and not even in the woods. The plot line also has no similarity with the previous jungle episodes. Motivation of the crime too.

More proof that one should never believe anything they read online without verifying it for themselves.

If CID also starts showcasing violence against women and children along with those cringe-worthy scenes, then it will lose the unique identity that sets it apart from other crime shows like Crime Patrol. CID has always been a family-friendly show, enjoyed by viewers of all age groups, and many people—including myself—prefer to avoid such disturbing content on television. Frankly, I believe that depicting such violence does not educate; instead, it can negatively influence the audience.

If showing crimes against women and children truly educated people, wouldn’t the crime rate in our country have decreased by now? But instead, despite the constant portrayal of such incidents in films and TV shows, these crimes have only increased. This is why the makers of CID should refrain from sensationalizing violence against women and children. Instead, they can focus on other pressing issues like corruption, political involvement in crimes, the impact of political pressure on investigations, black money, terrorism & national security threats, secret missions involving cross-border crimes and other relevant topics of today’s time.
