Lord Shiv Confronts Shukracharya’s Deadly Yagya

Lord Shiv urges Shukracharya to end the cycle of death, but Shukracharya refuses, reminding Shiv of his vow to do the unimaginable. Declaring that no one can stop him, he dares Lord Shiv to attack. When Shiv raises his Trishul, the Asurs and Diti stand in his way, chanting Har Har Mahadev as Shukracharya begins the yagya.

Lord Narayan advises Lord Shiv to stop the ritual by banishing Shukracharya instead of killing him, but Goddess Parvati argues that this won’t resolve the conflict. Lord Shiv acknowledges that while he can act against Shukracharya, he cannot change his intentions. Diti declares her determination to win, and Shukracharya insists his actions stem from duty, not vengeance. Shiv warns him of the consequences and departs.

Diti orders the yagya to proceed, and Shukracharya commands the Asurs to be ready for sacrifice. Indradev pleads with Lord Narayan to intervene. To make a lasting sacrifice, Diti declares she will offer her womb, as she can no longer bear children. Ignoring Lord Shiv’s pleas, she places it into the fire, and Shukracharya follows by offering his weapon.

Determined to stop the ritual, Lord Narayan instructs Indradev to extinguish the yagya fire with rain. As Indradev fires an arrow to summon rain, Shukracharya counters with his own arrow, vowing to protect the yagya. Diti then adds Asur ashes to the fire, alarming Lord Shiv, who desperately urges Shukracharya to stop.
