The problem with the movie kabir sing is that the fl was meek . But then don't the meek want somebody strong to protect them ? That's why , may be , girls liked it ..everyone likes power , they don't want the power to be used on them that's another thing...the most troubling part is they romanticed aggression & violence ...in today's times kisi ko samajh hi nai aa raha that aggression is not the way to handle one's emotions ..I just keep questioning those who liked such movies & came to this conclusion.

There are no red flags or green flag ppl , on itv or ott or movies or in real, there are only gray ppl. But that doesn't mean every kind of behavior is acceptable (falling into mistake and redemption cycle like in gen 4 ) ..like you said it means more understanding & patience ...my issue with the leads has more to do with their dealings with family rather than they themselves ..

This conversation will be one sided bec everyone is judging arman but for me abhira is also a red flag who is created to suffer ..she is more obsessed with vidya than arman himself. She is more obsessed with family than the family people . So when two people are in a relationship , both their actions/ reactions decide the outcome isn't it ? And outcome will never be positive for them . So in the end ho yahi raha hai ke whether arman is a red flag or green or abhira is red or green , they're suffering . Matlab something they're doing isn't right.

I think this kind of content stimulates us into thinking what we should NOT be doing ..afterall every story on itv and each character , no matter how green they are , are they immune to suffering?

Now , why such content is created ? Bec there are takers for such content . I've been watching Korean and Chinese shows frm the last 2 yrs & there the mls and fls are strong and independent .I just love to watch it..simple fantasy love stories... we will find the greenest of flags there . Does that mean we can find such men ? Ek bhi nai milega 🤣 not even 1. it will create another kind of problem if we follow that pattern on itv (although I don't mind it in right degree ) . Setting the bar too high is also a problem bec such expectations are unrealistic.

Do young minds get influenced ? Yes they do but this is not the only medium. It's the good 20 yrs of their life , they perceive it as they experience it . They may dream of asr or rk or animal type hero but 20 secs of Darshan will bring them bk to senses . This is called coming face to face with reality . The more they're exposed to the world The more practical one becomes & the influence of media automatically gets decreased. At the end of the day they are bound to absorb both the positive and negative . Their own wisdom will help them be a better person ..

Max part of the problem here is "long running shows " bec they are guaranteed to take that route which we don't like . And the channel won't end it till the time trp drops.

Forget ITV

have you seen the Netflix Do Patti .. I found the movie so wierd they glorified both the twin sisters ..

When both of them were actively vying for the same man .. they both knew what a jerk he is .. and still cheating each other to sleep with him

I didn’t understand why did that meek sister ( kriti ) marry dhruv .. when he had walked over her labelling his budding flirting as friendship he was openly sleeping with that open minded Kriti .

And she was taking pics .. then he asks her to marry him she happily gloats and marries him .. the aunt actually encourages it and prods him to marry the meeker saumya .. couldn’t the adult see what a red flag this man is for her niece .. and will destroy the twins relationships

why was the meek saumya such a pushover ., why did she keep on saying Dhruv loves me ..

and then goes crying to her twin .. who incidentally had no qualms on sleeping with her ex lover now jijaji .. both then kill him citing domestic violence and their aunt helps them

basically the aunt should have allowed both sisters to stay in a bigamous relationship with the same guy .. both wanted him .. both would have stoked his ego according to his mood .

Adults are stupid if they openly walk in a red flag situation in the name attraction and hot s…

It does subtly influence, many in extd have told one should have patience like upma aunty..and like doormat behaviour..even my amma sometimes..it irks me ..some peep saying it's out of love ..no boundaries are drawn in insulting, destroying career 😔😭 ..just coz the person cried is that person forgiven ..yaar some communication should have been der a proper apology..peep get away with lot of grey stuff in name of love

I am a professor so I do interact with lot of kids ..some of the stuff i hear scares me ..some kids parents work so no one monitors after 14 years 😭..some kids excessive pressure yet they find ways of watching šŸ™ˆ

But each to his own..my opinion is usually formed by my exp in life and

I am sometimes called boring coz I am very steady and take time to think and decide and stick to it

Yrkhh is my guilty pleasure and kinda habit..

Plus I love interacting with peep, due to a post surgery recovery I can't travel or hang out much until March end .

I work mostly from home , i teach accounting icse 10, 11, 12 and Bba , micro economics bba and management accounting online . Coz uni is in Dubai and I do not want to shift base

yeah even my opinions are majorly formed based on life experiences. We can learn from experience from elders but it changes with time. So we have to constantly look for better solutions than relying on proven solutions 😃

That movie was shit . I didn't get the head or tail of it..if domestic abuse was the theme , it was very poorly written ...first that meek girl shouldn't marry this guy who was openly flirting with her sister..the affair continues after marriage & abuse starts ..he was always like that ..chalo the meek girl was unstable so she wanted to marry, he wanted a respectable girl so he had an excuse. What was the twin girls excuse ? Just playing around casually & later she flips as if she's ganga snan wali mahila n helped out her poor sister šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« ajeeb hi tha plot.

Nowadays women don't have to do this much. The law favours them ..infact men r scared to marry bec after a yr they have to fight divorce cases & pay alimony , agree to whatever the girl is demanding ..girls also misuse the law ..

Yes the story made no sense .. it was like both the girls made the guy a willing sacrifice for their father’s mistake

Both were twisted and masochist..

In the end the guy Dhruv who himself was a jerk got punished for someone’s else actions ( father ) and the story was justified in the name of domestic violence n abuse

Arey why stay in this marriage and and why not walk out when you can .. no one was forcing saumya .

Infact the police was egging her to file the case long before why frame him in an attempt to murder to exorcise your fathers crime

Infact I thought since both girls were identical twins .. he should have married both of them .. both were stuck to him

one he could have taken for official meetings .. and born him kids and made his rich father happy .. other could have gone with him for wild parties and adventure .. .. both would have been easily swayed to accept the status quo

Dhruv basically wanted a balance of both kritis .. he got 2 extremes 🤣🤣🤣
