I agree with you. I didn't get the take of 'if you don't like it, don't watch it'. Can't shows be trolled? I like to call out the wrong things in shows because I find it grating.

Anyways, I can't believe the standard of ITV now days. And I guess it reflects on ground level. None of the shows and couples have much TRPs and even half of the online popularity that past shows and couples had (though there were problematic couples in the past as well- but I find it nice that a substantial number of those fans are slowly realizing how toxic those couples were and saying that should not have been shown).

To answer that question, I cannot watch anything just because I got enough romance in it. Love O2O was full of romance but it was bland, a straight line on the graph, and it got boring and so I stopped watching it.

Now, coming to the concerns about why a hater like me still watches this show.

Well, I was 2 kinds of stuff - one that is absolutely interesting, great plot, good storyline, doesn't care if it has romance or not. They are genuinely brilliant like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant, Badi Door Se Aaye Hain, Khichdi.

Second category is of batshit crazy, absolutely ridiculous stuff that is troll worthy, meme worthy and simply a great time pass like YRRKH, Kumkum & Kundali Bhagya, Anupama etc.

I like making fun of these shows, I enjoy laughing seeing the absurdity that they are. Aren't ITV shows watched fir entertainment?

So by making me laugh, by making me want to troll it, it is entertaining me and fulfilling it's purpose. That is why I watch it.

I am hoping that answered both the questions raised in this thread.

If you read my posts, I did say it directly to them when I disagreed. I pointed out what your friends said to explain why I replied certain things, not to complain to you. I don't need other people to defend me- I can defend myself. I like the selective bias towards my posts though .

That's true. Most shows now days are so one dimensional. It's basically the same story: leads against the world, leads doing silly stuff, then getting victimized and love triangles that don't make sense. i feel like the current shows don't evoke much emotions except irritation.
