I liked the all the episodes of Week 3 and 4 (Abhijeet and Ayesha’s elimination week) especially the partner and team tasks. The only episode I didnt like was the black apron challenge where they cooked protein. It seemed too easy as per Masterchef standard, and was the most boring episode. If not the other episodes were fun.
Archana
I actually liked her in the 4th week. She finally showed some genuine improvement in her dishes and her ability to cook. She won some respect after she actually helped the Red team unlike Nikki. Still think she should tone down as she unnecessarily gets too noisy.
Abhijeet
Not surprised he got eliminated but he was kind of unlucky too. He was in Faizu’s team but then he switched to Nikki’s team which costed him.
Ayesha
She was actually pretty good as a wildcard. Still think she should not have been eliminated too early. Undeserving elimination, had red team not made their food prices cheap she would have still stayed. Her dishes are way better than some of the contestants. The raw chicken costed her as all other elements of her dish was good.
Dipika
Finally she stopped making just desserts and started to explore more towards the savory side. However she hasn’t shine that much compared to her initial weeks, she doesnt look as strong now. I loved how she helped Usha Tai and worked with her with so much patience and calmness. No wonder Usha Tai chose her as her partner. The Korean dish she made looked good though.
Faizu
I like Faizu for his humble behaviour but I still think he plays safe with dessert but finally he’s over with the Middle East obsession. There is something about him that says he will go very far in the show, he is pretty talented and catches up quite fast. Some of his dishes are really good.
Gaurav
Gaurav is getting better with every episode. I think instead of Usha Tai, his dish should have been the best dish in the celebration episode, because his plating was perfect too. I loved how he made full use of his marketing skills in the cinema wala task. So far, among all contestants I loved his captaincy the most. He doesn’t fight with others to prove his point but eventually proves it. Among the guys, he’s my fav.
Kabita
Her dishes and plating are getting better. However, she still seems nervous. Her love-hate story with Rajiv is funny but weird too. They actually work well together when they both are quiet haha.
Nikki
Nikki has her highs and lows, and she is probably one of the few whose strength is in savory instead of dessert. But I don’t like her attitude. She has that jealous look when other contestants do better than her especially Dipika. And I got assured she is jealous when she chose to make things worse for yellow team as she was safe anyway. She did not even bother to support them after task like Archana, clearly proves Nikki is kinda selfish.
Rajiv
Rajiv is actually quite good in desserts, now I get how he is still surviving in the show. His plating is really nice too. But he is kinda doomed whenever he has to make a non-dessert. He still needs to improve a lot in appetizers and main courses. Weakest in non-dessert but one of the strongest in desserts.
Teju
I probably praised Teju too much in the intial weeks. Her dishes werent that good in the 3rd and 4th week. She even had back to back 2-3 bad dishes. But I still feel there is a winner quality in her, her ideas are still really good and are of international level just that she fails to execute them at times. Still rooting for her to win.
Usha Tai
At first I liked when she got saved in black apron challenge, but now its getting repetitive. Yes, she deserves respect as an elderly but its still unfair for others. The advantage of saving a contestant should not be given anymore , at least not when Usha Tai is there. Also I feel she got too much of an advantage in that partner task with Dipika. She is cute though at times.
