Because even Armaan marrried Abhira the same way and bought her home. Armaan always fought for Abhira & Abhira always tried to fit into the family. Slowly Dadisa did accept Abhira too but with many conditions

But with Shivani, she made her dissapeared. Made Madhav & Shivani believe that their respective spouse is dead. Made Madhav marry Vidya and hide from Vidya that he was previously married.

Even until now I don’t get, why doesn’t Dadisa like Shivani? Is it just because she isn’t her choice?

I had the same questions when the show started. Daadisa let the family do all rituals when Abhira entered the house as Armaan's wife. If Abhira wasn't as straight forward and impulsive as she is she would have been accepted by daadi so why not Shivani??

Why did Madhav married her and brought her home without daadi 's permission. What was the hurry ?? Armaan was forced by Akshara and the situation but what was the urgency in Madhav's case??

@red Madhav even though he has been a useless father (for Armaan and Rohit) and useless husband (for Vidya), he didn't try to persuade KP to accept him and Shivani, when KP shut PH doors for them. He left his family, his mother for Shivani, had a happy family with Shivani. Madhav only returned to PH or lived with his mother, after his life partner Shivani's demise. That's what triggered KP and hurt her ego.

Whereas Armaan bent and pleaded infront of Vidya to accept him and Abhira, even when he knew infertility was not a crime committed by Abhira, the way his mother treated Abhira was inhumane and vocally condemnable. He tried harder to gain Vidya's acceptance, even when she wanted him to leave house. He didn't leave because of conditioned love, gaslighting, humiliation or abandonment by Vidya mata but because of Vidya mata's happiness.

Whereas Madhav left because he stopped trying, knowing his mother was wrong. He could differentiate between love and manipulation, right and wrong. Madhav left when he was asked to leave with his wife, without any guilt or regret, for doing the right thing, by choosing his wife over his mother who was unreasonable, egoistic and delusional (like Vidya mata was during infertility track).
