Why would Talha attend Roshi's wedding? He didn’t go to Mahi’s wedding to avoid Roshi, and now, knowing that she loves him—not just idealizes him or has a crush—why would he show up? Especially when he himself wants her to marry someone more suitable. He could have easily avoided the wedding, and let Mohid and Abid Uncle go instead. I'm thinking,
1. Maybe Talha asked Roshi to marry him, but since she was so angry at him, she rejected his proposal and stood firm on her decision.
2. He already knew she was marrying Sharik but didn't know about the edited videos – Perhaps he had asked her to reconsider, but she refused, possibly due to blackmail, and was too embarrassed to tell Talha the truth. She might have even requested him to stay silent.
3. He might have discovered that Roshi was being blackmailed into the marriage. His calm demeanor at the wedding could mean he has already taken steps to stop it, likely dealt with Sharik behind the scenes.
What do you all think?
I don’t think, Talha will propose to Roshi before the wedding. Talha knows Roshi will the best mother for Mohid, best daughter-in-law for Abid and even the perfect wife for him. But his fears are monstrous than these facts and will never let him confess. IMO, Talha will attend Roshi’s wedding, solely for these reasons:
Himself - To punish himself for falling in love with Roshi, see her walk away with another man and break his own heart.
Roshi - To prove that he never harnessed any feelings for her, which will help her move on with her new life easily, and despise Talha to the core.
Abid - That he can face reality, stand up to it and Roshi’s marriage doesn’t break him.
I’ve very little hopes of Talha knowing Shariq’s evil intentions or him taking any action against Shariq before the wedding. It looks like he will get to know only at the wedding and things will unfold naturally. When Shariq humiliates Roshi, Talha's long-suppressed love for Roshi becomes apparent, and he lashes out at Shariq, that’s my take.
