Love-O-Rama #3: Frame it with Ishq: Closed

Are you ready to turn love into art?
Take part in our Valentine's Day graphic challenge Frame it with Ishq.

Theme: Love in all its forms! Whether romantic, sweet, platonic or nostalgic, let your imagination speak through the graphics.

You can pick any canon or non canon pair

You have to pick two criteria from the following list of technique and based prompts for your creation. After all, it’s a graphic challenge.

Faceless: The design should not show facial features, focus on silhouettes, body language.

Black & White: The artwork should use only black, white, and grayscale tones.

Lyrics: The graphic has to incorporate song lyrics as a key element.

LGBT: The design should highlight LGBTQ+ themes, relationships, or identities.

Typography: The focus should be on text design, with creative use of fonts, lettering, and layout.

One True Pairing: The graphic should celebrate a beloved fictional couple or explore a new fictional couple.

Trope: The graphic should represent a common romantic trope (e.g. "friends to lovers")

Stages of Love: The graphic should illustrate one of phases of a romantic relationship like attraction, infatuation, love, reverence, worship.

Collage: The graphic should be made using a mix of images, textures together.

Blending: Smooth transitions between images and elements.

Platonic Love: Depict deep, non-romantic affection between characters.

Hand Touches: The graphic should focus on the intimate and expressive gesture of hands touching.

Opposites Attract: The graphic should highlight contrasting personalities or characteristics in a relationship.

Jealousy: The graphic should capture themes of envy or possessiveness in love.

Love Triangle: The graphic should depict a romantic dynamic involving three people.

Retro Aesthetic: The graphic should feature vintage-inspired design elements, such as colors, fonts, and styles from past.

Minimalist: A clean and simple design with limited elements.

Duo Tone: The graphic should use only two contrasting colors for a bold effect.

Anime: Use anime characters as your romantic pair

Sci Fi: graphic should have futuristic and imaginative elements. :

You cannot pick the same criteria twice!

All graphic styles are allowed (be it signature, poster, collage, mood boards, animated gif ecc…)

Signature size 500 * 300

Poster 512 * 800

Moodboards 720 * 720

[Moodboards should have at least 6 different pictures]

Collage 550*750

Animated Gif Set 600*500

One True Pairing can be an original pairing that I think looks gorgeous or does it mean that the couple have previously worked in a show/movie together?🤨

Also need clarification on Typography, Trope and Blending? What comes under those?

Sorry for so many questions but I’m not a very experienced graphicer.😅 I can only make simple stuff.

as far as i know about typography, in fanvids it's usually an edit where a lot of complex 3D model texting is used.

and blending is basically the normal siggies (without any other extra textures and stuff unlike the complex graphic/solo edits. just the soft editing of particular scenes)

For OTP, a couple that you believe is meant to be together, no matter what. Can be both exiting pair or brand new pair made by you.

Blending: it’s the technique on PS. Can be hard blending or soft blending.

Trope: you select a pair based on popular tropes. Like Friends to lovers like Rahul&Anjali in KKHH.

Typography: the text/quote is the main character of your creation and had to be impactful visually. You have to convey the theme aka romance through its size, style, coloring

half of these techniques seem difficult to understand. we know how to edit but we don't know the terms used for them so....
