I've been waiting for your review, safe to say I'm not disappointed

I had zero expectations honestly...but ohmygawd, I really enjoyed it! The director, Ali Faizan deserves a major shoutout. He makes everything look so classy even with the masala parts. I've seen Nooran's written projects before but this one really looks the most aesthetic of the lot. Even the writing wasn't OTT and Star Plus-like.

Danish toh Danish hai. He was enjoying every second of this, the fun younger brother who can kick major ass I love Kabir already and personal shipping has begun in my delulu head. Now I'm gonna dream of Kabir and Abhay at the same time

How old are Kabir and Riya exactly?

She is a 12th grade student as her greatest wishe is to pass her 12th grade exams

He killed her father I am guessing when he was 19 because of the line main dass saal ko umar se gun chalana jaanta hoon. But Riya and her sister implied that after killing their father, Kabeer was sent abroad abd has been gone for 10 years. That makes him 20 years old

So maybe the cktrs were written to be young 18 and 20 or something like that but they aged them up in casting? Hope the lines were adjusted.

Too early to give a judgment but given it's wtitten by Nooran, there was at least nothing objectionable yet. Sahar is just not a good actor. Sorry. Even her friend was better. Acting more than anything was the weakest point in e1. Surpridingly Saba Hameed was bad too. Kashmala is the bhaabi once again 🤣🤣🤣 Dunno if its the actress or if it has any future storyline, she seemed shady to me🤭🤭

Danish was only part so far that stood out. I like his styling here. He looks good here and the cktr had that swag. His acting was fine too. A few lines and expressions here and there were really nice but overall the acting itself was ok/competent. The cktr's styling and swag I would rate higher.

Abhi story khulni hai. The family rivalry angle seems meaty but too early to say. E1 ke basis pe I cant judge story. In terms of pacing, it was fine but for some reason, non Kabir scenes did feel longer, while Kabir scenes passed much more quickly.

I will give it a few more episodes before making an overall call whether I will continue to watch. Overall, I wouldn't say this was a great episode that hooked me but it wasn't bad either (performances of fl and supporting cast being my main issue).

I'm darn excited for they have set the table for a yummy enemies to lovers feast. And they better deliver in the coming episodes. It's early but I like how Riya, despite being devoted to her family, has got an edge to her.

So, you're caught in between Kabir and Abhay? Now, that's a love triangle worth looking forward to with popcorn
