Yes, it appears so. I believe they're following the original storyline without any changes.

I didn't want their relationship to develop this way - Digvijay in an emotional and semi-conscious state. Intimacy isn't the only way to heal a broken heart; the writers could have chosen another catalyst leading to their marriage and an unexpected pregnancy.
