That circumstance doesn't seem possible. Like how can solely shivani believed to be dead while armaan was safe and sound.
whatever happened none knows it. If they did purposely they should get that pain and punishment. then it's depends on Kaveri's intention. If her intention was to give happiness to her son, grandson and her dil as shivani was mentally unstable and vidya was already married and armaan is to small to see his mom in such a state. But if dadisa purposefully created death certificate to cut off shivani completely( like how ak changed bc of abhir to cut off abhimanyu) and got vidya married to madhav then she can have no redemption.
